Far Cry: Vengeance invites you to get in touch with your inner animal as you take the role of Jack, a man hunted for a murder he did not commit. Jack is blessed with predatory skills far beyond a normal person, and he can jump higher, run faster, and slash quicker with his feral abilities. Using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers, Jack can perform many activities including jumping by lifting up on the nunchuck device, zooming in by moving the remote forward, and using a machete by slicing through the air. Jack also has a variety of weapons at his disposal, such as the Bull 44 large caliber revolver and a G18 automatic rifle. As he explores the tourist resort, an abandoned World War II base, and a petrol refinery, Jack has the opportunity to travel on foot, or in some areas, use vehicles including a hovercraft, an ATV, and Jet Skis. Friends may get in on the action in a split-screen "Chaos" multiplayer mode, and compete to be the last player standing.

Controls are difficult, and 2 player is pretty bad
The game itself is alright, but it does take quite a bit of getting used to. One of the nice things is the auto-targeting. Since it takes quite a while to get used to aiming with your right hand, while moving with the nunchuck, the auto-target is very helpful. The two player really wasn't that fun. One person turns into the predator, and then they do, they only attack with their hands, but it only takes one hit to kill the other person when you find them. You can't have 2 players going through the game which would have made it a lot better. Besides just walking around and looking around, it is difficult to do some moves because of the Wii. Jumping, slashing with the machete, and throwing grenades or molotov cocktails require you to throw your arm, but then the aiming is off so you ... If you can just get used to moving around with the controls, then it can be fun. Just don't get too excited, as you forget when you're doing and then you're looking at the sky while running into a wall while you are being killed. Have fun!

Not bad at all..
I agree with the other reviewer. It definitely provides that feeling of immersion into the game. The use of the controller takes a bit to get used to at first. But by the first stage you should get the hang of it. Very interactive! I'm not usually into war theme games, but love shooting,i took a chance with this game and I have to say i was stunned as how stuck I was on playing this game. Trauma Op is another great one. and Zelda too. But i think graphics can be a bit better but the music selection and the whole experience of using your wii controller makes up for it. You really feel your in the game. Music was a bit spooky for me..I found myself very focused into the game and any distraction i would be startled, which i thought was very funny. You can shoot with two guns at the same time , slash with a long army knife or shoot them if you wish. Take over vehicles and shoot with acquired larger weapons.. It's cool. If you into graphics only then proceed with caution..but honestly i think its a decent game, for what it is. I bought it on a deal at circuit city, on sale $19.99. Took a chance, Lovin it thus far. Love the fact you get really involved in the game. Hope this helps...

best FPS on the wii in my opinion.
I just got this yesterday. im about 4 hours in now. i got 5 hours into call of duty three so far. and checked out red steel for a couple hours. and in my opinion, this is the best one available right now. the controls arent bad if you take the time to get used to them. the graphics could be much better, but they're deffinitely acceptable. the multiplayer is really good, especially predator mode. the voice acting is not good at all, but the sound effects and musical score are very fitting for the game, and deffinitely help immerse the player. the environment, like the other far cry games, are deffinitely different than most games of this genre, but ive found it very immersive. if you can get past the slightly clunky graphics, pick this one up for sure. most fun ive had on the wii other than ... Without a doubt, Far Cry has the most advanced graphics seen in any PC game to date. Everything in this game looks amazing, and the level of verisimilitude is unprecedented. Jungles actually feature dense foliage that consists of trees, plants, and tall grasses, and this foliage is filled with birds and insects. Beaches have blinding-white sand, and the surf slowly laps ashore. The character models are some of the best we've ever seen in such a game, and they're richly detailed and animated. The game also incorporates real-time lighting and shading effects to a degree rarely seen before, so when you walk in the jungle, you actually see the shadows of overhead leaves flickering on your rifle. In some of the larger indoor levels, the shadows of oncoming opponents are projected in ... Without a doubt, Far Cry has the most advanced graphics seen in any PC game to date. And a near miss from an enemy rocket will black out your vision--as if you got the wind knocked out of you. You can't help but be pulled in by the sheer immersiveness of the game. During the many firefights in Far Cry, you'll go up against cunning opponents, such as mercenaries who know how to use cover. They'll run between cover while shooting at you along the way. The lushness of the jungle usually means that these engagements turn into cat-and-mouse affairs, where you slowly stalk your prey. The jungle is so dense, however, that you often can't see your enemies until you're practically right on top of them. Sound plays an important part in the game at these moments, because you can track opponents by their sounds, and they can track you by yours. You can throw a rock to create a distraction, and you can crawl around the jungle to make as little noise as possible. Stealth can play a critical role in the game at times, and one of the few complaints we have about it is that the enemy artificial intelligence seems to have a very low detection threshold. If you make the slightest noise, all the bad guys in the vicinity go to full alert, rather than investigating further.

Totally fun
I'm not a huge gammer so at first the game made me nauseous. But I stuck with it and it passed. This is a super challenging game. But not for someone who bought this WII game to get fit. It's a total sit on the couch for hours game.
