See the World from Your Own Couch
This book is bigger than I thought it would be when I ordered it online. Which is never a bad thing. It's an amazing book, great maps, interesting reading throughout. There's even a map of The Internet inside it which I found extremely interesting because I had never thought of making such a thing into a visible map (it doesn't look anything like a regular World map). Great colorful pictures. National Geographic has definitely still got it! It also comes in a protective book case cover thing too. Excellent buy to educated the young and old, a must
I bought this Atlas about a month ago on Ebay for my brother, when I received it and reviewed it I loved it so much I want to get one for myself. It is more than an Atlas, it has so much more information, for example: Megacities and their growing trends, world heritage sites per country, a bit of history, etc. It is a must have in every house, it puts history, what's going on in the world in perspective and in a very interesting and visual way for the ones who geography is not their strong subject.
