Out dated
Ok to read but boring. Better book on McVeigh is the recent one by Jeffery Tobin.

Unless you get it cheap, don't buy it.
I am about to visit Oklahoma and wanted to know as much about the tragedy as possible. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong book. From the outset, it's apparent the authors do not write well. It drags on and on with very little thought to phrasing, thought or prose; although it's a book, it reads like a book report! The authors needed to check the accuracy of quite a bit of their information. For example, their description of how military medals and awards are placed on the uniform is incorrect. I did appreciate their bringing out of the human aspects of McVeigh. McVeigh had support
I use this book to complement "One of Ours". It has the details about letters and gifts sent to him in prison. That was described in the newspaper, but not in the book "One of Ours". The authors are also "home boys" for Tim McVeigh, working out of Buffalo, New York.

This was the 2nd book I read on the tragedy in OKC. And much better than the last. This was definitely a pair of professional journalists that joined their talents and told the story from the facts. Although they never condemned or condoned Mcveigh through out the book, I was able to feel as if I spoke with Mcveigh personally after reading their story. I will never believe that McVeigh's actions were justified. Killing innocents is just wrong. However, after hearing McVeigh's side through this book, I can see that his anger was completely justified. I just wish he had dealt with his anger in a manner that did not bring harm to innocent people. I highly recommend this bookThis was the 2nd book I read on the tragedy in OKC. Great book and fair review of McVeigh and the reasons why. Highly recommeneded read. Good pictures of the OKC Building before and after. Good memorial to the lives lost. The author knew the McVeigh's personally and tells this story very well.
