À propos de ce produit

Product Information

Dr. Robotnik should find himself another hobby, because this one ain't paying off; or at least not yet. Determined yet again to collect the Chaos Emeralds and gain absolute power (over what, we're never exactly sure), The man with the Mean Bean Machine has sent out his robo-cronies to kidnap the birdlike Flickies and invade Flicky Island in search of all six Chaos Emeralds. Poor Sonic. Why can't anyone else play the hero for once?

The gameplay is familiar, but the settings are completely new. Sonic 3D Blast sticks the blue blur smack dab in the middle of a fully rendered isometric playing field, with new hazards exploring a third dimension in which to terrorize our hero.

Rescue the Flickies from the grasps of each of Robotnik's mechanized bad guys, and set them free at the end of each level. Also, keep an eye out for Tails, who'll offer you a round trip ticket to the bonus rounds where Sonic must collect enough rings to earn each emerald.

Claim each section of Flicky Island, including its snowy peaks, its grassy hills, and even an active volcano, in your pursuit of the tirelessly conniving Dr. Robotnik.

Sonic 3D Blast for Saturn features two separate endings, each displayed in full motion video. There is no save feature in Sonic 3D Blast.

  • It was a nice twist on the Genesis classic, yet I still felt at home.

I grew up playing the Genesis version of the game. I never even knew it came out for the Saturn. So when I saw it I had to get it. The game is similar to the original but the did update it and change a few things around. The first thing I noticed was the opening and the music was different. They also add more detail to the stages and changed the special stages to mirror that of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The attention to detail is great and the game play is still as fun as I remember the Genesis version. However the game is no where as good as the more conventional Sonic titles on the Genesis but it is a nice attempt at a different kind of game. The game is difficult like it's predecessors but for different reasons. The graphics were ahead of it's time and works better then some of the more ...

  • Best on the Saturn

This game gets sooooooooooooooooooooooo much hate, but i'm going to be straight up with you, this game is fun ( at least to me ). Graphics are nice, music is awesome, boss battles are some of the best in the franchise and was something new being done with Sonic. Maybe its just me but i love this game for what it was not for what other people wanted to be. DON'T GET THE SEGA GENESIS VERSION, GET IT FOR THE SEGA SATURN.

  • Seen something like it, but this is the BEST version

This is almost exactly like the game released for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive. The Saturn version graphics are better as is the sound and the gameplay remains the same. Bonus levels are different and better. This game does come as close to getting 3D right as any game can on a 32-bit console but it's still just a 32-bit game so don't expect awesome 3D graphics. 3D stuff aside, this game looks good, sounds good and has enough challenge in it to be interesting for more than one go-around. If you have not already played this game then YES, get this game. It is hard to put down once you start. Like Tetris, or Pac Man or Q-Bert (or my new favorite DC Squares) - this game is pointless and addictive, just at a slightly slower pace. Capture five birds so that you can go through a ring ...

  • Sonic 3D Blast

Best Version of Sonic 3D Blast. The Graphics have been update versus the cartridge version, the sound is CD Quality, and the overall presentation is great. This Game is a Blast!
