    Listen, Watch and you will understand why this work endures.

    Beautifully cast with magnificent singers. The beauty of Verdis’ Opera interpreted by Renee Fleming as the ill fated Violetta is captivating. The costumes are luxurious and grand but never overtake the importance or drown the story. Rolando Villazon and Renato Bruson as Lover and Father sing their roles in perfection.

    Best Traviata around

    Terrific production of this opera. One of the best ones I've seen. This dvd plays perfectly.

    Excellent La Traviata

    This is a must for anyone who loves La Traviata. I have several different performances of this opera and this is the best. Renee Fleming and Rolando Villazon do a fantastic job with not only the music but the acting as well. It is superbly done.

    Renee is my opera idol

    I love Renee Fleming I think she is the best opera performer of my generation. I decided to buy it because I could not find it here in town. Thank you so much can't wait to see it!
