Product Information

Gamers play through this cross-country adventure from the perspective of a heroic pup named Jake. Jake is on a journey that leads him through all sorts of locations, from a remote ski resort to bustling cities, all the while at odds with the villainous, dog-hating Miss Peaches. In addition to Jake, players also get a chance to play as dogs of other breeds, each with different abilities and characteristics. Especially notable is the game's "smellovision" system, designed to help players perceive the pastoral game world as a dog really would, picking up on trails and scents invisible to the human eye.<br><br>Hip Games has announced that a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Dog's Life in North America will be donated to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (S.P.C.A.).

    So Janky, So Gross. So Great. Worth the Wait.

    I've wanted to play this game since before it came out. I went to ShopKo and played the demo until I mastered it, janky controls and everything. The novelty of playing as a video game dog completely outweighed the fart, poop, gross humor, casual sexism, and terrible terrible graphics. I waited 15 years to play this game, when it was so obsolete even Let's Players didn't play it, so there weren't even any videos of cutscenes or gameplay I could watch on YouTube. 100% worth the wait.

    Great Game! A bit childish, but very fun.

    I love the fact that you are a dog!! The controls are tight and easy to use. Sometimes the comments get very annoying, but the gameplay is still fun. The difficulty reflects that of a child&apos;s game, but some of the comments made by the characters are not really made for small children. There are some minor glitches (lik bones travelling through the dog and then bouncing around him), but I haven&apos;t encountered any bugs that would ruin the game. I remember this game being in stores for $10, now if you find it, it&apos;s $30. I would recommend this game to people who like easy missions. It&apos;s a fun game if you&apos;ve ever wanted to run around doing doggy things.

    Detailed but simple

    This game was very thrilling as a child for me, exploring the multiple maps with endless mini games is wonderful. The graphics are like any ps2 console game, but it still runs very smoothly. The game does include a bit of vulgar things like peeing games and farting tricks, so don't buy unless you think its funny. I loved this as a child and beating this game as an adult was such a wonderful flashback, not to mention the relaxing soundtrack.

    Great, but Glitchy.

    I really like this game. It is fun, exciting, and fresh. Whether your thing is shaking cats, pooping on the streets, or playing tug of war, there is something in this game for you. HOWEVER, this game is extremely glitchy...and I am not kidding. I once almost lost hours of progress from a glitch. Its camera is okay but unstable at times, and graphics can also be glitchy. These are major flaws with it. So all in all, a great game, but very glitchy.

    Great quality

    I grew up playing this game, but my copy became very scratched. I was very sad when it would no longer load. I was very happy to find a very good copy for the price! I have played it and it works all the way through. Thank you very much for providing me with some nostalgia. It shipped and arrived when it said it would.
