Great addition to the Digimon series. Fantastic gift for the avid fan
I recently bought this game to relive happy memories of my childhood. I wasn't dissapointed as even years after my first adventure into the digital world, this game has proven to be immersive and challenging. This game is excellent fun even for a nineteen year old female such as myself. I highly recommend this turn-based monster fighter game to all persons who enjoy this type of game even if they are not fans of digimon, though in my opinion, digimon is an interesting and worthwhile series. I found this a worthwhile and highly enjoyable item. It was worth the price and more!I recently bought this game to relive happy memories of my childhood. Good but not the best.
Digimon World 2 is a fine addition to the World series of Digimon titles. The story is compelling and pulls you in. The lineup of Digimon is unparalleled with any other title in the series. The game gives the player the opportunity to choose which type of Digimon he/she gets to raise most by integrating 3 different Tamer teams. Black Sword primarily focus on Virus type Digimon. Blue Falcon focus primarily on Data type Digimon. Gold Hawks use mainly Vaccine type Digimon. The only drawbacks are that battles are no longer "real time" as in Digimon World. Instead, they utilize the turn based battle system of classic RPGs. And, instead of running around the world with your Digimon partner towing behind, you traverse dungeons in a tank-like vehicle known as a Digi-Beetle. The Digi-Beetle holds ... Digimon World 2 is a fine addition to the World series of Digimon titles. The story is compelling and pulls you in. The lineup of Digimon is unparalleled with any other title in the series. Needless to say, the Digiworld is in peril from evil forces and it is up to you, an upstart new Tamer, to solve it's problems and save it from destruction.

I love the game and all the interesting things you can do in it. You have to train the digimon get them more levels and run through missions. Nothing like the original digimon game. There's more to do and more fun. Great game if you like digimon.

I liked the graphics in this game and am a very coautous player, so took over 200 hours playing this game through. If you have a LARGE amount of time to kill this game is great for that. The battle secquences last an adverage of 5 min. and the dungeons take about 1-2 hours to complete each. The leveling up system is unique but also takes a while to do before you can get a high ranking creature. The 2 player battle mode is ok. The level of difficulty you have in the game deepends on what team you join in the beginning so keep that in mind. This game really is a fantastic gem! I love it! I had it as a kid but lost it when I moved. I got this game and the nostalgia came back to me! Thank you!!
