Best Alphabet DVD Ever
I actually had this DVD for my daughter who is now a Junior in high school, then for her brother who is 13. About 3 years ago, my husband & I took in his brother's children & at the time one was going to kindergarten without being to pre k. He was having trouble learning the alphabet so I borrowed this DVD from a friend bc I'd given mine away. And now I bought another one for my 3 year old who will be starting pre k in August. It's the absolute best educational DVD I've ever bought! In fact I've bought it twice & used it for 4 of my children!! It's super catchy song sticks with them!! Such a fun way to learn the basic letter sounds
Such a fun way to learn the basic letter sounds! My youngest child loved this 14-15 years ago, and she was all the more eager and ready to learn to read! And now I am buying it for a grandchild. (Note: My only "complaint" is that the letter "r" by itself does not say "er" but rather "rhhh"). Enjoy!

Great Video
My 3 years old son have mastered all the sounds already in less than a month, even my 19 months old is learning the sounds as well. This video is very engaging, I have tried other videos but they weren't as focused and happy to watch them as they're watching the Letter Factory. My only complain the video I bought is scratch a little so the video wouldn't play well from the start. Learning By Leaps and Bounds!
I bought this product actually as a gift for my nephew, who reportedly, loves it and is driving my ("big")sister crazy playing it over and over and over again!!! Ha,ha, ha, ha, ha I knew someday, somehow I'd get revenge!LOL I originally purchased this dvd in the stores for my daughters 2 and 4 years old. It did wonders for them with recognizing letters and their phonics. Even my 2-yr-old was able to recognize the entire alphabet and knew their sounds by the 4th time she watched the dvd. It includes a recognition game in the menu so that they learn to match the letter sound with the letter itself.She was also able to recall their sounds without the visual portion as well which, of course, made Mommy sooo proud!. It is definately something every grandparent should consider buying, too. We ... Here's an item that'll earn ya one up on the other Grands...(smile)My daughters had the spotlight at Nana's office!! Everyone was so impressed to hear them sing..."a says aah, b says buh, c says cuh, and d says duh"...and so on, all the way to letter Z! By the way...not to sound like a mini ad for LeapFrog or anything, but I think the Fridge Phonics gave them a nice lil' headstart on letter/phonics recognition. They even have a lowercase set too. Thankfully, LeapFrog remembered the whole issue with noise control and included a volume adjuster for it. Lord knows I could use some "quiet" time every now and then.

Works fine but had scratches
Dvd content is excellent! The disc does work but the condition description wasn't quite accurate. It had several scratches but was described as like new. More accurately used but good.
