    That's Amore A Son Remembers Dean Martin

    So many of these types of books only criticize and demean the subject matter, but that is not the case here. Ricci Martin tells his heartfelt story of growing up with one of the most loved entertainers of our time as your father. As one who seldom missed the Thursday night Dean Martin Show I was delighted to read how the "real" Dean was a loving father that allowed his children to grow and encouraged them to follow their interest. Young Martin gives you great insight into the extended Martin family and the sorrow’s of life that were a part of there lives. You will be introduced to life in "The Hills" as it was in the days of Dean-Paul and Ricci's childhood. The last two chapters were especially emotional for me as Ricci tells of his dad's later years and the sadness that seemed to ...

    That's Amore by Christopher Smith, Ricci Martin (2002)

    This is a must-read for any Dean Martin fan. Get a feeling for what Dean was really like, not just on stage, but at home, through the eyes of his son Ricci. Well-written and honest. There was nothing I disliked about this book, I wish there would have been 200 more pages!!!
