The disturbing piece of information is that the evil Hutts, criminal warlords of the galaxy, are building a secret superweapon: a reconstruction of the original Death Star, to be named Darksaber. This planet-crushing power will be in the ruthless hands of Durga the Hutt -- a creature without conscience or mercy. But there is worse news yet: the Empire lives. The beautiful Admiral Daala, still very much alive and more driven than ever to destroy the Jedi, has joined forces with the defeated Pellaeon, former second in command to Grand Admiral Thrawn. Together they are marshaling Imperial forces to wipe out the New Republic. Now, as Luke, Han, Leia, Chewbacca, Artoo and Threepio regroup to face these threats, they are joined by new Jedi Knights and Callista. Together they must fight on two fronts, outshooting and outsmarting the most formidable enemies in the galaxy.     Darksaber

    Boring story of the Hutts making a bigger weapon then the death star,rediculus! Trods on .Don,t get how Hutts can do anything in this book,they don't,t move to fast.

    Nice work, Kevin J!

    Kevin J. Anderson is a very cool writer and he pulls off a predictable story in style. What I mean by predictable is that the New Republic has to yet again defend the galaxy from a superweapon. This time, it's the Hutts, led by Durga, who've built another Death Star variation called the Darksaber (a reference to its long, cylindrical shape). There are some interesting plot elements in this book. Luke Skywalker returns to Tatooine, along with Han Solo, to try to make contact with Obi-Wan Kenobi. What a great way to start off a book! Also, Callista makes an appearance, love her or hate her. We find out quite a bit about Qwi Xux, the woman who was brainwashed into helping design the original Death Star along-side Bevel Lemelisk.     Star wars: Better than ever

    This book is one of the best around.. aside from the trilogy's this book keeps you wanting to read. i didnt want to put it down.. Kudos Kevin Anderson.. Great Author Great Book A+++ I could read this many times over
