Great medium duty mic stands, at a rock bottom price.
I own a small sound company, and occasionally need to replace items such as mic stands. I had been looking at this 6 pack for a while and decided to go ahead and make the purchase. I paid $99.95 with free shipping, and the items arrived very quickly.... admittedly I am only about two hours drive from their location! Upon arrival I inspected everything.... it was all well packaged, and contained all items listed in the ad. I received 6 tall boom mic stands, 6 mic clips, and 6 - 20' XLR cables. The stands are surprisingly good, medium duty stands. I don't think they would survive a world tour with a big sound company... but for what I do, they should last a long time. The boom arm tightens down securely, all telescoping functions work very well too. The mic clips are nice and reasonably ... For each set... mic stand, mic clip, and cable... I paid $16.65. That is absolutely unbeatable in my book! I was previously buying similar boom stands for about $45 a piece. Most mic stand packs in this price range are pretty much unusable in real world situations.... but these are definitely a grade above the rest. These things will pretty much pay for themselves on their first gig.... and I foresee them lasting several years with proper care. Anytime I buy new gear... I immediately look at it's rental value and how long it will take to begin making money. So these are definitely a win for me. I really can't speak highly enough about the cost to performance ratio. If you are in need of mic stands on a budget, look no further... this is what you need.

Very good stands
I own a recording studio. I have for 30+ years. I go through stands pretty fast since they are always being moved and messed with. I've got everything from Musician's Gear to you name it and these are the best stands for the money. Griffin, hands down! I bought 4 of their big stands that are up on rollers for about 1/4 of what the other people sold them for and they are just as good. As for these small stands, I just bought 6 of them for about $15 each. They are better and by a long shot compared to the ones I bought last time for $50 each. I actually just needed some cheap extra stands so I wouldn't have to tear my drums down to mic up someone else's set. These stands are by far better than the ones I have on my set now and I actually paid less then 1/3 for them. These came with mic ... I own a recording studio. I have for 30+ years. You can STAND for this!
This is a "prosumer" grade mic stand. Gently used, they will hang in for years. Tossed in and out of cargo vans, piled aimlessly into the transport vehicle and they will fail due to lost pieces, cracks in the plastic parts etc. Great value for the price range. Perfect for the home studio on a budget where they are set and forget.

good for the money
Overall good quality for the price. They are a little on the light weight side and will tip over if over extended. And the threaded inserts will get stuck in the microphones when taking them off, but a tiny bit of thread locker blue was able to solve that.

Decent mic stands, a little lightweight...nothing that cannot be solved by adding weight to the bottom legs.
