    Book is like new. I've only tried a couple of recipes so far, but they are good. Her Norther Italian book, I thik, is a little better because in that one, she has refined her recipes more.

    I 3 this book! In fact, I made one of the pork tenderloin recipes for St. Patrick's Day where my guests savaged them up. They were wrapped in smoky bacon and studded with rosemary; I added Yukon potatoes and loads of garlic cloves then roasted the whole thing for 30 or so more minutes. Super tender. I was pretty proud of myself because I don't cook that much meat! I cannot wait until I visit her restaurant in Sacramento.

    I liked her show, years ago, and her book is down to earth homestyle cooking. Basic, good old fashion italian cooking the way it should be.... She is great cook and book is excellent!
