Emotional, moving, beautiful, realistic story
I found 'the Last Song' to be an emotionally charged, moving story that was very true to life. Having been through a similar situation to the children in the story, I found the movie to be captivating and realistic. Miley Cyrus's portrayal of the teenage daughter of a divorced couple, coping with the prospect of a new father, the death of her biological father and the changes that teenage life brings with it, was very, very realistic. I believe she had captured the true essence of the storyline. Being a teenager herself, perhaps she was able to draw upon recent life experiences in fulfilling the role. I would like to applaud the directors of this film. They did not try to sugar coat the situation nor did they over dramatize the storyline. This is a situation that so ... The Last Song - definitely worth watching!

Liam Hemsworth & Miley Cyrus
Both make a great debut in acting for different things. Miley steps out of her typical Disney girl roles & Liam makes a fantastic debut into the US acting scene. Very touching movie, Nicholas Sparks writes beautiful romances. Recommend this if you want a good tear jerker!

Great movie to watch in summer.
Read the book first as usual. The movie closely follows the book. Be ready for some tears to flow. Enjoyed the book and the movie.
