Product Information

Released just a year after the original, the 2010 follow-up to developer Spike Co.'s high-def Dragon Ball brawler offers refined controls, an improved camera, and more characters. The game's story is told in a new action-adventure mode that takes place between the fighting-game styled battles. Over 90 characters can be unlocked for play, including more than 20 that are new to the Raging Blast series. Under the game's "Raging Soul" battle system, players can master combos and attack sequences that raise their characters' powers to the highest level. Characters speak in their original Japanese voices. Battle stages have been enhanced since the first game, for more interactivity and destructive effects, with four new battlefields in addition to the original ten. There are seven main modes of play, including offline and online battles against other players. Character items and accessories can be unlocked by conquering challenges in various game modes. The retail disc editions of Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 also include a complete Dragon Ball episode, titled "Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans," which was re-written and re-edited from an episode of the Japanese anime series. Players who watch the entire episode will unlock an additional in-game character.

Recommend this game for the gameplay alone
Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 was of course an awesome game especially for fans of fighting games. Of you're looking for a game with tons of characters, this is your game. It has over fifty characters and that's without most of their transformations. All environments are somewhat destructive and it makes you feel somewhat powerful yourself when punch some kid in Nevada's character through a couple mountains. Although it seems amazing, it does have it's flaws. You earn characters in Galaxy mode which is sort of cool but gets very repetitive. If you're looking to buy for story wise i wouldn't go about doing it. And sometimes in Galaxy Mode the challenges are not well explained and can get very ridiculous without putting a bunch of attack ups on your character which by the way are rather ... One of the fastest and most fun 3D open world fighters around
This game is super fast pace and mega fun. It will really test your reflexes, a bit of a button masher but skill can also be applied too and if you know what you're doing then it will definitely take the game play to a whole other level, because the fighting system is awesome.The way you have to pull off motions at the last moment will test your timing and your reflexes, dodging, transforming, beam battles. . .etc,etc,etc.You can finish your opponent off in any number of ways hand to hand, blasting, you can use supers and ultimate attack to do the job or even parry. I've spent hours playing this game and unlocking characters, I haven't had this much fun with a fighting game since the last raging blast. A definite must have if you like fast pace fighting action or a hardcore DBZ fan.This game is super fast pace and mega fun. It's great, but I'd prefer the copy with the original soundtrack
This product worked great and it has very good gameplay. The only thing that I disliked was that the original soundtrack was replaced. I mostly bought this game for the music cause it would make me feel nostalgic. I rated it 3 stars for this reason.
