    Product Information

    The first film Elvis made after his stint in the army, G.I. BLUES tells the musical tale of Tulsa (Presley), a singing G.I stationed in West Germany who dreams of opening his own club when he gets out of the service. He has very little money, though, so he makes a large bet with fellow serviceman Dynamite--Tulsa must spend the night with beautiful and hard-to-get dancer, Lili (Juliet Prowse). Songs include, "Blue Suede Shoes," Shopping Around," and "Pocketful of Rainbows."

      Elvis at his best!

      The music in this movie is wonderful. It brings back great memories of a time long gone. Elvis played himself, as usual. Very cute plot line.

      G.I. Blues Review

      This is one of my favorite Elvis movies. It was filmed just a few months after his discharge from the Army. I thought his acting was good and he showed a real flair for comedy. The songs were some of the best of any of his movie soundtracks. The quality of the dvd is very good.

      wonderful customer service and a great movie :)

      the movie came quickly and the seller was great with putting up with my fickle mood, the movie is perfect and went over great with Alex. I now have all of his favorite elvis hits and for a great price. out of the ones that i've seen i love this one the most, its an adorable movie and there isn't a single song in it that i dont like. theres a wonderful part where they put on a song on the jukebox and it's labeled as an elvis hit.
