    Terrific! You will not be able to put this book down!

    This is a great book! I just finished reading it myself. "Sure as the Dawn" is the 3rd book in the Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers. This continues the story of Atretes the gladiator. His story began in book 1, "Voice in the Wind." Book 2 is "Echo in the Darkness". I highly recommend this series to anyone. I wasn't sure if I would like it, since it was a historical fiction book set in ancient Rome, but once I started it, I couldn't put it down! I read all 3 books back-to-back. This is a great piece of Christian fiction. Francine Rivers has a pure talent for writing about characters that you really care about, and her stories are always Scriptural and thought provoking. A friend first recommended a Francine Rivers book to me, and now I am hooked! I now have all of her books. She ...

    Love the Mark of the Lion Series!

    This is the 3rd book in the Francine Rivers "Mark of the Lion" series. It continues the stories of some of the characters introduced in the other 2 books and brings closure. Wonderful series, read several times and passed on to my daughters and others.

    Really enjoyed first 2 books and first half of this one.

    Great series, but I just found too much darkness written about in this ending book. Too strong for my spirit. Looking forward to reading some of Rivers other work.
