A few marks of pen here and there. Irritated because un-erasable. Spine, cover, and pages in impeccable condition, however. Overall, for the price, the product is satisfactory.

    Why buy Abridged?

    If you are anything like me, this audio collection will not be your first time at bat with Dune--Many of us have loved this series for decades. So I wonder why anyone would buy the abridged audio collection? If you want a shorter version, why not just listen to the movie or mini-series? The full version is definately worth it and does not cost too many extra dollars (especially from eBay). So I say...Go for it! Buy the unabridged Dune, then all you have to do is sit back and enjoy as one of the universes greatest stories unfolds!

    Great book

    The production of this title was second to none. The charactger actors gave clarity to whom was speaking during the drawn out conversations, it also gave the story depth. The music added another demention. I would definitely recomend Dune to anyone who likes audiobooks. I would especially recomend Dune to anyone who likes Scifi.

    great audio book

    The readers really bring the characters to life. I've been wanting to read this book forover, but could never find the time. So now I can listen while I drive, excellent!!!

    An Excellent Adaptation

    All the voice-overs are great, especially the narrator. The background music/sound effects/ambiance is done very well and does not distract the reader from the material. The packaging is nice.
