Massive 1 volume compilation - great gift for cat lovers
Hardback volume containing all 3 of Amory's Cat books. This will make a great Christmas gift for some friends who own 2 different, but both adorable, cats!

The Cat Book About Compassion...
I was given The Cat Who Came For Christmas (first installment of this trilogy) in 1998. I was so moved by it that I wrote Cleveland Amory...and he wrote back! He loved life and the people/animals who lived it. This book reflects his position that a positive outlook can alter outcomes. It's the theme you'll find, over and over, in all three books contained in this volume. Polar Bear was a lucky little cat but (through all the loses he touches on in the book) I think Mr. Amory would say that he was a lucky human. This is a great gift for someone who's healing (for me it was from a bad back injury) or a cat enthusiast. Some of his prose might be too intellectual for younger readers, though nothing in it's pages could be viewed as inappropriate. I'd give it 'two thumbs up'...as long as you ... If you love cats, you'll love this book. This is 3 books in one cover. A friend had loaned me the first book to read and I wanted to read the other two. I found this book that has all 3 in 1. Many humerous cat stories about Cleveland Amory's cat, Polar Bear. Cleveland was a reporter for TV Guide a few years ago. Many celebrities are mentioned.
