A good book to read with your child
"Caps For Sale" is a story that has mimicking monkeys hanging from a tree and a frustrated salesman trying to get his caps back from them. I love the way he gets them back. I also like that there is counting and colors in the story. I bought this book because I enjoyed reading it when I was a child. My girls love to read and we make a game of acting out the actions in the story. This story has endured for 60+ years, and I'm glad to share with my children."Caps For Sale" is a story that has mimicking monkeys hanging from a tree and a frustrated salesman trying to get his caps back from them. This is a classic story encouraging reading for children - repetitive which is paramount to learning in the early stages. It was a favorite of mine and was a favorite - a super favorite of my son who is now a freshman in college. He still smiles when we talk about it. I gave him a Byer's Choice 'hat vendor' figurine for Christmas with a copy of the book.
