Not going to lie, I did not read enough, because now I see this item is used. I would have NEVER known pulling this out of the box. It looks BRAND NEW! We bought this for our daughter's graduation, I ordered on a Tuesday, and FedEx was at my house Thursday to deliver! Almost better than Amazon. I am above and beyond is disbelief how wonderful everything went. My only drawback was FedEx needed a signature, and no one is every home when they deliver. Not the seller fault, just the only downside.

Nikon D7000 dslr
The camera is not a standard POINT AND SHOOT, although does have that capability. It is a very nice camera outfit with many, many functions and settings. You can pretty much accomplish any type of picture you can think of. It is complicated IF you are not dslr savvy. If you read the owners manual and make yourself learn the functions, you will enjoy this camera. It takes GREAT pictures! AGAIN, it is very easy in the full AUTO mode but it will take trial and error and learning to MASTER. Final word, it is a GREAT camera, but then again, it is a Nikon!The camera is not a standard POINT AND SHOOT, although does have that capability. Great body! Skip the kit lens and spend $ on a better quality lens
I absolutely love this camera! I researched it for several months prior to making the purchase and have never regretted it. I purchased the body alone with a different lens, as the image quality and the construction quality of the kit lens is not that great--I mean,it's an intro lens afterall. The D7000 is very versatile. In fact, I am intending to upgrade to a full-frame camera in a couple years, and will use this as a backup. Also, I am purchasing only FX glass so that I can use them on the full-frame without any problems. To "dxz1940" who seems to have had a bad experience with his Nikon D7000. It appears that the battery issue you experienced is a fluke because I have owned a Nikon D7000 for about one and a half years (since it was released) and have not ... I absolutely love this camera! I give it 5 stars because the body is awesome; the kit lens, not so much if you're really serious about photography.

Great inexpensive camera
It's an old model, but still works like charm. Very versatile, easy to use and great image quality. Most important, has inner autofocus motor which enhances lens which don't. Two SD card slots, big screen, quick and quiet focus.

Professionnal results in a box.
This camera is awesome. I used to have a very basic Point and Shoot cam, then I used a Bridge type camera for a while. This one overcomes everything. It's ISO sensitivity is incredible and I made multiple HDR shots already, even when it was dark. It's low noise is very appreciated. The camera has a very good feeling although it's a little bit heavy to take on the go. BAttery life is good, but nothing extraordinary. The major plus it has to me is its profound depth of color compared to its competitors. As I like to play with colors in post processing, it helps a lot and my pictures are going out beautifully. I also recorded 1080p videos in dark and colors and shadows went out not perfect but very good! It shoots fast, it shoots right, it is just what the amateur in me ... This camera is awesome. Nikon D7000 brings out photographer in me
Nikon makes a great camera and has for a very long time. I was in the newspaper business for many years and that's all our photographers used because Nikons are dependabale. The Nikon D7000 I purchased is a very nice mid-level DSLR with loads of features. And I like that it takes high resolution video. So far the photos that I have taken are crisp and clear but I'm still learning the ins and outs of this camera. I also like the feel of it in my hands, not too heavy and not too light, and the buttons are easy for my fingers to reach quickly. I like the three-inch view screen and use it most of the time for taking photos and video. A friend of mine is a professional photographer and teaches photography at a local arts college. It, too is a great camera, but I like the Nikon better. I chose Ebay for my purchase because of several reasons. First, was the variety of choices in vendors that allowed me to shop and compare products and price. Ebay also protects me from making a bad purchase and I like it that I can use Bill Me Later. The rating of sellers is a major factor in making a purchase because high scores indicate a willingness to make customers feel at ease in buying from them online. I will continue buying and selling on Ebay.
