    review with in-depth video settings/calibration.

    TV has an incredible picture. Great for sports, movies, and video games. The 3D is excellent with this set, equal to or better than all other ones i've viewed. The 3D glasses are comfortable and adjustable with an easily replaceable, inexpensive watch battery. I watched the BCS championship game in 3D and it was definitely I great experience. The NBA and NCAA in 3D is awesome as well and the previews for the upcoming X-games in 3D look amazing. The only thing I would say is necessary to change is the factory video settings. Look up the video calibration tests for the set. The best settings in my environment, which is a medium light, medium/large room setting are Picture Mode- Custom; backlight- 7; picture-90; brightness- 51; color- 50; Hue- 0; color temperature- warm2; noise ...

    Great 3D TV!

    The picture is fantastic and the entire system is easy to use. It came without a manual, but controls and menu are intuitive. 3D capability is better then at the theatre. There is a large amount of flexibility for interfacing to devices. We realized that we will now be watching more shows at home and that the money we save by not going to the theatre as often (we often go once a week) may pay for the tv in a year or two. The 240Hz motion flow is a plus! As with all Sony products, connectivity between Sony devices is very good so that powering off the TV powers off my Sony receiver. In researching this purchase I narrowed down my list to Samsung and Sony as having the best picture. The features and connectivity to other products swayed me toward Sony.

    A very good choice on a large screen tv.

    I wanted to upgrade from my Polariod 46 inch hd tv. I chose Sony because of it's excellant picture quality and high CR rating. I love the ease of operation and many features. The picture is so lifelike on all the HD channels. My only complaints are that the sound quality is slightly less than I expected, and that the remote control cannot be programmed to operate a cable box or DVD player, etc. Overall, this TV is definitely a good buy. I have not yet used the 3D feature.

    BUY IT! YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE IT!

    Great TV for the price! The motionflow technology works great, internet capability works great with programs like Pandora and Netflix, and it works well for mounting. Only reason I took off a star is because it has a glare to the screen, but maybe that's common with 3D TVs.

    Not as good and reliable as its name

    This is a review made by an ordinary user. I purchased here about a year ago. The 3D quality is great. Even though you use 3D sync transmitter (must) still sometimes the signal fails. The screen is harmless for vision. Regular TV quality is poor. Though it is less than a year old, the screen has got 4” wide (black) vertical lines. Sony customer service refused to repair (against the warranty); because I lost the receipt. So far I could not find a technician to fix the vertical lines. Because there is no service/repair manual in the market for this model I could not try to fix it myself. It is absolutely not worth of its price.
