The Foscam FI9900P combines a high-quality HD digital video camera with a powerful built-in web server to provide live video anywhere. All that's required is an internet connection and viewing device such as a smartphone or desktop computer. The Plug and Play setup process is easy: simply scan the camera's QR sticker with your smartphone and it syncs with the camera automatically. This IP camera comes equipped with 30 high powered IR LEDs for night vision up to 65ft, and sophisticated motion detection with optional alerts. Video can be recorded for free to ftp or hard drive.

    Nice camera with one drawback

    This was my first FI9900 after using many FI9805 cameras for many years. The setup is just as easy, but the video quality is very nice. Good wide angle view and is very clear with the exception of the far left and especially right areas. The focus is nice and clear with exceptional video quality in the center. The focus loses clarity on the outer edges, however it's still a very good clear image overall, even when digitally zooming in. My main complaint is the mounting arrangement. With the FI9805 and similar cameras, you install the mount and are able to fix the pan to any direction and tilt with almost as much flexibility. The FI9900 has some tilt range, but the azimuth is only going to be perpendicular to, or straight out from the surface being mounted on. If you're mounting on a ...

    Great for the price

    Upgraded my old outdoor camera with this one. Great image at night. Great resolution. Would make it great if it had a Sd card slot to store images or video within instead of having to use a computer or FTP

    FI9900P Review

    This camera was a good purchase for the solution I wanted. It is made of high quality materials and has quite the small foot print (love that!). The camera h/w gets a 8 out of 10 for me (SD slot could be better placed/accessed). The s/w gets a 6 out of 10 (just functional enough, but needs some work). Over all a great home security camera solution. Would get a perfect 10 with better s/w and a $99 price point.

    Foscam software buggy so FTP unable to be set up.

    The software is buggy and with even with Foscam tech support was unable to get the FTP to my WD NAS device to write. Previously had another Foscam camera that worked a couple years without any problem and currently have an Amcrest which is working fine using FTP to WD NAS. Tech support was rude too and hard to understand because of accent and connection. Returned and am replacing with another Amcrest.

    Great CCTV for monitoring

    Easy to set up and it is great for monitoring outside. I have set up two for my home. I really like FOSCAM product and they are easy to use and set up.
