My friend was rebuilding the engine on his 1995 Dodge Dakota truck. Working a full time job, it took him 3 months to do it in his spare time. 6 weeks before he finished, he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. When he passed away I got his truck and promised I would try to get 100,000 miles on his new engine. Finding a Haynes repair manual for the exact year and model was such a huge win for me after losing my friend. This repair manual will help me keep my promise. My friend was rebuilding the engine on his 1995 Dodge Dakota truck. Simply amazing!
Lets face it.... cars are a luxury, therefore an expense. The simple fact is, no matter how you look at it, even if your car runs perfect all the time, you still have to put gas in it to make it go. Expense! But who's car runs perfect all the time? If you have one, let me know so I can get one too! But honestly, at some point in time your car needs some attention. Whether it is the simple oil change, brakes, or something more difficult, wouldn't it be nice to do it yourself as opposed to shelling out a bunch of cash to have someone else do it for you? The Haynes line of repair manuals are perfect for the novice level and up do it yourselfers! Not only do they put the tasks in an easy to understand text, they use excellent photographs to accompany the written repair. Making this a ... I got this Hayne's manual because my partner and I had got a home in Ohio, And won the truck on ebay from Miami, Florida. I flew over from England and brought our prize to our home here and needed the manual as this vehicle would be slightly different to the UK automobile's I worked on for work and at home. As is usual, this being a Hayne's it easily filled all my need's and explained the small difference's I needed to know.
