Warriors… Come Out And Play
One of the best story based games out there. Based on an ultimate classic movie of the same name, this is one of the great games in the PS2 era. If you’re a fan of the movie, you will LOVE this game. Even if you don’t know the movie, you will still find a great game here.!

Excellence
Very fun and replayable gameplay also one of the best couch co op games for the gaming connoisseur. It made me wanna watch the movie and I figured out it is identical in all ways that matter to the movie with added scenes and lore.

The Warriors came out to play.
This game was always one of my all-time favorites. Very well made, faithful to The Warriors story and setting. Very, very fun and great for fans of the movie and the other PS2 Rockstar game State of Emergency. Getting the PS2 disc was well worth it and brings me back to easier days. Booklet is awesome with a little profile on every gang and I really miss when games came with nice things to flip through before diving into gameplay. Well worth whatever price, honestly. "Warriors...come out to play!"
The Warriors game which was developed and published by Rockstar Games, is actually based on the 1979 cult classic film "The Warriors". The Warriors game includes different events of the movie, as well as a new introduction that led up to the events of the movie. Many of the movie actors did voice overs for the game, so it makes it all the more interesting and makes you feel like you are part of the movie. The game is excellent, the graphics and character models are nicely done, the sound and effects are of excellent quality, and the gameplay is intense with a high replay value. There are few things that are not so great though. For one, the game is loaded with extreme amounts of violence and profanity, which you would expect from Rockstar games who developed other controversial titles such ... While some may claim that this modification of the Manhunt engine may fall short of being an amazing game, I would argue that the game itself is a wonderful representation of what The Warriors as a movie has to offer. In short, is a lot of brutality that not only provides the game with a satisfying edge, but a level of immersion that easily overshadows most of the games technical shortcomings. The combat in The Warriors is frantic and down-right graphic and the sound feels organic during these fight scenes; when you hear a bottle break over someone’s head the first time you will probably wince. Even running in this game feels panicked due to the loose controls, which make it feel as though the player is running as fast as they can to get away from the cops or an opposing gang. And when a ... And when a second player is thrown into the mix that’s when the fun really begins, tackling becomes frantic and somewhat challenging in an attempt to not break up your buddy’s combo (there is no way to turn off “friendly fire” in this game). The level design is fair, with “extra objectives” (really just a few regular objectives whose locations have been removed from the mini-map) that unlock new gangs in the brawl mode (over 400 unlockables). There are also unlockables found outside of your hideout which will improve your gang’s chances of survival on the mean streets (such as hand-cuff keys). There are also back story missions that in addition to the 13 main story missions (5 of which encompass the content of the movie). All in all, if you’re a fan of The Warriors, you'll be able to see past some of the less than beautiful graphics to see a wonderfully fleshed out version of the world of the Warriors. And even if you are just curious, this is a beat'em up you need to check out. And while your at it, get a friend to keep you covered for twice the fun, a second chance when you're down (they can get you out of cuffs), and a lot of back and forth oneupsmanship.
