Product Information

Hanna-Barbera's much-loved animated series returns with this slick 21st century update. As in the original show, Jonny trails his father, Dr. Quest, across the world as he investigates mysteries that pit him against some of the world's most diabolical villains. Coming along are Dr. Quest's gruff bodyguard, Race Bannon, and adopted Indian son, Hadji; Jonny's pet dog, Bandit; and a brand-new character, Jessie--Bannon's sprightly daughter. Also introduced in this sequel series is a new dimension for arcane adventures: Questworld, a virtual reality simulation where the gang are rendered in lush computer animation. This collection presents all 13 episodes of the show's debut season.

    TRA: Jonny Quest: Hopefully better DVDs will come

    I was excited to find out that one of my favorite childhood series finally came out on DVD, so I bought the first copy I could find on eBay. While it was great to finally have this series on DVD, I was a little disappointed to find that the manufacturer couldn't be bothered to put the whole season onto two silly disks. My fault for not reading the description fully... but still. 13 episodes? Why bother manufacturing the whole product if you're not even going to put the full season on. Also, I found this part laughable: Special Feature - Jonny Quest Returns. The main point here being "special feature"... as in just the one. This DVD set feels sort of like the snack you get to tide you over between meals. One can only hope that if Hanna Barbara sells enough of this DVD that maybe ...

    Jonny Quest - the UNcomplete First Season

    The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest was an excellent animated series that was killed before it's time. I was excited to discover that the show was recently released on DVD so I HAD to pick it up to revive some childhood nostalgia. I received it in mint condition, but was disappointed to find that it was only the first 13 episodes and NOT the COMPLETE first season. There's no logic behind this other than WB wanted to milk this for it's worth. The series was short enough to put BOTH seasons in one package... so what's the deal? Other than that, it was great to see the show in all its glory. Yes, "Questworld" is laughable today, but I remember it being sooo awesome when I was younger. And the opening sequence is epic.

    My grandsons like it and I watch too, them fall asleep...lol

    great show

    I have seen this show as a kid when it used to air on TV. I have forgotten about it for time but now, I am glad to have found it. I think I like it more now than I did long ago. It's a great show. Such adventure, mystery and a little suspense to it. It was worth buying

    My daughter loved this show

    My daughter loved this show. For those who remenber it was part of Toonami's weekday lineup. It is a remake of the classic Jonny Quest. In this series Jonny Quest again goes on adventures with the help of his father,Race Bannon, his daughter Jessie and his best friend. The anamation is better than the orignal. The story plots are good as well. I know my daughter was glued when watching this show. In this show Race's daughter Jessie adds to the cast I know she was my daughter's favorite. In this series the character's find aliens, and other mistical creaters. So watch it.
