Racing fans can hit the Brickyard and other famous courses during the heyday of Indy racing in Indianapolis 500 Evolution. Taking place from 1961 to 1971, Indy 500 Evolution offers games more than 360 era-authentic cars capable of taking players to speeds in excess of 170 miles per hour, while a full damage model means that reckless driving may result in broken engine covers, wheels, exhausts, and other important parts. The "Career" mode features simulation-style racing that takes into account dozens of variables, from fuel load to tire wear, and those who like to tinker can custom build their own open-wheel monster from the same parts used by legends like Al Unser and A.J. Foyt. Every race includes a full 33-car field, and each competitor has a respect meter that fluctuates depending on how aggressively players drive. Fans of multiplayer action can head online to join up to seven friends in heated competition, with AI competitors filling out the rest of the field.

nice racing experience
enjoyable learning skills of these cars and finally finding the one best suited to you takes patience and practice but rewarding to get faster qualifying and pole starting position takes awhile to get hang of hand controller but it has easy and normal and hard so to compensate for that . love the historic movie clips too over all nice game ps be nice to other racers or they will get back at you

If you love historical racing games; this is worth the low price.
These cars are a little difficult to drive in the beginning, but you get used to them. I know the game gets knocked, but I think it does a good job of displaying the cars of the day. Braking and tire technology has changed so much; you can feel it as you move through the years on the game. My knock is in the AI; they will run you right over in the turns. Also, it could use some more tracks. I enjoy this game thoroughly as an IndyCar fan.These cars are a little difficult to drive in the beginning, but you get used to them. Indy 500 Evolution
this game starts in the early 60's and ends in the early 70's. the time line of cars is pretty cool. you race through 10 years of Indy. the racing can be a bit challenging, but is not hard to get the hang of at all. I love racing games and though this game is a little hard, the challenge is fun. the should have put some more car modifications in the game but the game still kicks butt. Indianapolis 500 evolution
I liked the way this product brought back the nostalgic era of roadster racing of the 60's and 70's. I didn't dislike anything about ,I grew up listening to all of these fantastic racers hoping some day I would have the chance to race against them a dream come true .. The game is very life like and the cars handle very well.. The only thing is I wish is that they would have gone just another decade back to capture the roadsters of the 50's thus making the era complete and even more exciting...I liked the way this product brought back the nostalgic era of roadster racing of the 60's and 70's. Not what I expected.. Not recommended..The game features only drivers from the 70's.. You would think a game of this magnitude would at the least feature drivers of the past and drivers from today's Indy circuit..
