À propos de ce produit

Product Information

A video game staple for two decades, EA's best-selling football series rumbles onward with Madden NFL 10. Headlining the new features in this installment is the ability to take your franchise online. Madden NFL 10's franchise system supports up to 32 teams and allows owners to manage their organization away from the console via Internet browser or iPhone application. Online franchise play includes authentic NFL schedules, transactions, live drafts, adjustable depth charts, and stat tracking. Another key addition is the option to play a game cooperatively with a friend against the computer. Instead of sharing the same viewpoint, however, you will play from a position-specific perspective.

Other changes involve tweaks to the play mechanics. Quarterbacks now automatically drop back behind the line of scrimmage to follow a three-, five-, or seven-step motion. The physics have been reworked to improve on the areas of tackling and blocking, while hot and cold streaks will dynamically influence a player's on-field ratings. Enhancing the television-style presentation is the all-new "The Extra Point" highlight show after each week in franchise play. Hosts Fran Charles and Alex Flannagan will give you a rundown of the week's top performances and highlights. Customize the game using an assortment of sliders, master the new wildcat formation on offense, and listen to broadcasters Chris Collinsworth and Tom Hammond call the action from the booth.

Avis les plus pertinents

  • Better than 09, but could've been better.

There's a real sense that EA wants to get back to the fundamentals of football with Madden NFL 10, and many of the changes it has made in that respect are good ones. The running game feels great, and the passing game is much improved over previous iterations. The Pro-Tak system works just about as well as you'd want it to, and the inclusion of online franchises (while featuring some dubious options) is a pretty good reason to dive into this year's game. Even the new online co-op option, which lets you and another player take on the computer, is a nice addition. There's just something satisfying about completing a bomb to a receiver controlled by a friend and not the AI, but this mode still needs some attention when it comes to camera work and positioning--it's a little too disorienting and ...

  • Amazing Game

This one is the best of the bunch so far, with so much happening in cutaways (from brawling refs to coaches yelling from the sidelines) that it's easy to temporarily lose focus on the plays themselves, which would be a crying shame given how very impressive they are. Graphically, Madden 10 is something to behold; fast, fluidly animated and almost broadcast quality on PS3. Technically, there's plenty to get to grips with, including the new Pro-Tackling system, designed to show off massive pile-ups and gang tackles while allowing your quarterback to shimmy round tackles or pass the ball right up to the moment of sacking. There's even a mini-game for when two players simultaneously dive for control of the same ball. All this combined with improved offensive AI (although there's still a few ...

  • Finally, a Madden worth the price of admission.

I used to be one of those guys that would wait in line the day it was released to get my pre-ordered copy. Me and my brothers would play Madden througout the 90s and into the new millenium. The addition of franchise mode in 2000 cemented Madden as a staple in my gaming diet for years. Then somethings happened. Madden stagnated. It got harder, it cheated, there was a lack of innovation. It became more of an arcade game and less of a simulation. I was either beating it 70-3 or fumbling every time I ran the ball; no middle ground. I began playing NFL 2K5 and quickly realized it was the best football game ever created. Ever. For the last 4+ years I've played NFL 2K5 and basically swore off Madden, waiting for their 10 year lock on the NFL rights to expire. I've tested the Madden ...

  • Madden 10 Review - Finally A Real Football Game

I got this game thinking it would be good and I WAS NOT let down. The game play in Madden 10 has been slowed down a bit. But this is not a bad thing at all. You get to see plays develop and it really helps the game play to be much more fun. The presentation also is a great improvement from last years game. Also you can now "fight" for the fumble. Which you have to press buttons in a random order to recover a lose ball. Another good addition in this years Madden includes a "Pro Tak System" which you can get to see many defensive players trying to put down a single player. The graphics are very good the best so far in the series. The sound is good and i would have to say this game try's to stay true to football. Pros: 1. Great Graphics 2. Authentic Feel To The Game 3. Slower Game Play ...

  • Madden NFL 10 pros. AND cons.

Now of course with new maddens, come new features. However, sometimes new features can get annoying after a while. This is a great game of course with the improved blocks by lineman and catching improvements of receivers and also the breaking tackles of the running backs. however, some features i found to get irritating after a while. For example every time a ball carrying offensive player is stopped near the first down line (being past or short) the refs always come out to judge it and that gets quite irritating since sometimes you can already tell that there past or short(no u can press X/A or start to make them go away) and you have to just sit there and watch. also, at times the game appears to have glitches like where there's a clear fumble and you recover then a challenge is thrown ...
