Product Information

Sweet Tooth and his rivals climb back behind the wheel for this portable version of the violent vehicular combat game. Most similar to the fondly remembered Twisted Metal 2 (and crafted by Incog, home to many of that earlier game's developers), this PSP version of Twisted Metal offers battles that take place in a dozen diverse arenas, each full of its own devious secrets and hidden power-ups. Players choose from 14 familiar Twisted Metal characters and vehicles, each fine-tuned for play on the handheld. To ensure the action comes "head-on" at gamers, multiplayer competition for up to eight is supported through the PSP's wireless networking features.

    amusing mayhem

    mindless destruction, has gotten incredibly cheap for head to head play, i dont like that the player has no obvious opportunity to use the old freeze missile. i like all the entries in this series, and this game was one of the reasons I got a psp in the first place. fun for the whole family, unless you are hooked on the surreal pablum of barney the dinosaur and so on. if it had a few more things, it would get the excellent rating. eg the sweettooth transformer fer instance.

    one very entertaining game

    bought it because I thought it would remind me of my childhood. Used to play the first few games back on the Playstation 1. very fun game, big fan of the game, recommended for fans of twisted metal. On my PSP its always extremely fun to take with me and play a little somewhere where I might have to wait a little. Shame they stopped making the games, it was very nostalgic how this game brought me back to my game like maybe crash bandicoot and spyro the dragon. Playstation needs to bring back these older games and keep the longtime fans happy!

    Great game, just too easy to beat.

    I liked the game, and I've been playing twisted metal games for years, but this game was too easy to defeat. Especially with the cheat codes, the game was just not fun after just a few days. There needs to be a way to have a continuous story mode. I liked the story mode on the Twisted metal 4 for the playstation better... Anyways, the game is good, and fun to play for a while, just dont spend too much money on it, its not really worth it. It wont last you too long.

    Great gameplay

    I bought this game because I have played other Twisted Metal games in the past on both PS1 and PS2. This is probably one of my favorite thus far as it has easy game play and it stayed true to its nature. I bought this without realizing that there is an infrstructure mode so you can play people all over the world! I did this and it was easy to setup and enjoyable to play. If you have a PSP, you should also have Twisted Metal: Head-On.

    Back to the old days

    This game is unique in it's playing capability..i remember the old times when me and my friend went to the store and rent this game for the PS1, and tried to beat it over and over with 2 against cpu. It has average graphics, nothing to amazing, and can be a little repetitive.. But the variety of cars and characters to choose from can be an opener for some great wrecking experiences :)
