So I'll give it to you straight. This book doesn't suck. It'll make you laugh--maybe not out loud, but in that place deep down where you know a good joke when you hear one. It'll make you think--also not out loud, because, you know, that'd be a little strange. Hell, it might even get you to reconsider a few things, and consider a few others for the first time. You can take this book to bed, or to the beach, and it won't ask you to swallow, or rub lotion on its back. It doesn't cost a whole lot of money. And (best of all ) it's collectible. Buy a few--one to read and a couple more to set aside for your retirement, cause these suckers are gonna go up in value like nobody's business. Trust me on this. One to read, and a couple more to set aside. You won't be sorry. And neither will I.

    BOOK is something else!

    How does one start to review a book that is filled with vulgar language and vulgar references??? Well, Whoopi Goldberg is a brilliant actress and also a good writer. She has some great ideas on politics, race issues and also everyday living. I really enjoyed the book despite the rude language...but that is Whoopi, take her or leave her, but you will be better off 'taking her', so read the book and decide for yourself! I decided to buy the BOOK because I like Ms. Goldberg's sense of humor.

    Hear the voice of Whoopi Goldberg herself

    I have always liked Whoopi's movies & stand-up & sometimes will even tune in to The View because of her. But this book is an entirely different matter. I am a middle age white lady from south Alabama & didn't know how I could possibly related to a book written by Whoopi. Well I found out.... This book is so refreshingly honest and extremely funny. I could just hear her voice & it didn't matter whether I completely agree with her opinions or not. The chapter titled DRIVE is soooo hilarious!!! I laughed so much my cheeks hurt. This is a must read. If you like Whoopi even a little bit then read this book, you'll love her.

    Wonderful book. Whoopi Goldberg is in a class all by herself. This book touchs on all the topic and takes no prisoners but is wildly funny. Must have for a good laugh. Very good book.
