Avis les plus pertinents

  • An average anime movie.

As a huge Gundam fanatic, I had high expectations for Mobile Suit Gundam F91. Perhaps too high. As it stands, F91 is an average anime movie that is certainly worth a rental, but isn't really worth the purchase in the end. The main problem with the movie is the pacing. It was originally a television series that ran into production problems and was changed into a (roughly) 2 hour movie. Instead of rewriting the script to tell a specific story, they simply condensed the original story. By doing this, everything feels rushed and unfinished. The next problem with the movie is the abysmal English dubbing. It's truly terrible. Alot of the voices are recognizable (Seabook Arno shares the same voice actor as Shiro Armada from 8th MS Team) but they didn't do a very good job with this movie. Many ...

  • Gundam F91

this movie takes place in the universal century time line. but even if you never saw an episode of the original series you will like this one. it takes place in uc 123 (30 years after the events in the last movie.) this allows the story to reference the older series but not be dragged down by back history so new fans can enjoy with out needing to know about the time-line. it starts during the cross-bone vanguard conflict the eff has been stagnant after chars neo-zeon fell and the folding of the replubic of zeon in to the federation in uc 100. so we open to a mass slaughter of Jegan units witch were the heroes of cca now being wiped out by the newer compact ms used by the vanguard. during the course of the movie we are introduced to many replacement grount suits including the Heavygun ...

  • Mobile Suit Gundam F91

Excellent Animation, great mobile suit designs, originally planned as a 50 episode tv series, but due to conflict of some kind it was compressed in an hour and 58 minutes.......all your favorite things about Gundam are here, it just feels like this series should have been fleshed out more, it seems like it would make for an interesting series, all in all it was a worthy addition to the Gundam franchise and is highly recommended!

  • Mobile Suit Gundam F91 (2004, DVD)

As with all the UC Gundam series its is dark. The good guys are bad, the bad guys are bad, and as usual some kids are stuck in the middle. I'm not sure anyone could say this was a wonderfull movie. The animation was about like the original Gundam and the character development was sub-par. The storyline was not this animes strong-suit; generaly everyone is evil and some emotion lacking kids are the heros? Only get this if you want to complete your gundam collection.
