Everything was good, the reason for the neutral rating is that it was listed as brand new and it appeared to be, but there was a mixtape in the cassette player, so it was obviously a return or a refurb

Excellent Boombox with up to date features
I love this blaster. It is a great product. My only complaint is that the one I received had a defect where a part came loose inside the box. I had to open the back and re-attach it to its mount and also reattach a small copper wire that came off as a result. Once I did this, the box worked beautifully. I would buy again and recommend. The sound is rich and controls are easy to use. Bluetooth from my turntable to the boombox was also easy. It's fairly heavy so probably would not recommend carrying on your shoulder walking down the street ;)I love this blaster. It is a great product. A Boombox Like The 80's
Sound is clean, amplifier powerful. Stated power is 40 watts per channel and it's probably true. Radio tunes stations in well. The cd player is rather unique and works well. The USB player works well, but the record function only records seven tracks, then freezes the whole stereo up. I had to disconnect the battery to reset it. Just remember to only record a couple of tracks at a time and you'll be ok. The cassette has great playback quality as long as the tape is factory or has been recorded on a higher quality tape recorder. The recording quality is awful, with lots of tape hiss and not-so-good fidelity...but I wasn't expecting high quality from this cassette recorder. The unit appears to be built quite stout, better than most, and should be quite durable. The RCA input and output jacks ... Sound is clean, amplifier powerful. Would be a great box with more boom!
Good overall! Could use some better bass sound though. Also, the tuner display needs to be backlit so it can be read in dark environments.

please fix the volume problem so i can buy the product
you can not get more volume with the control knob / that is the only thing wrong with the product. it only goes up to 29watts and the knob keep turning with no more volume. the knob need to be replace with a knob with more volume.

Nice throwback boombox
The GPO Brooklyn Boombox is a true representation of the 80's boomboxes filled with todays technology built in. The sound is crisp and clear along with digital dials for accuracy and improvement for your listening pleasure. A bit heavy but this is a boombox. Rechargeable along with bluetooth make this a well deserved unit.
