Myst III: Exile
the 3rd myst game is the best yet- a must is the DVD version! Great landscapes, the 360* view is a big plus over the past 2 myst games, also fewer pointless puzzles. the BIGGEST complaint was trying to install the game and get it to run as is should - a nightmare! MAC USERS WITH DUAL CPU SYSTEMS MUST SHUT OFF 1 OF THE CPU'S - use a free program called CHUD TOOLS-DOWNLOAD FROM: "http://mac.wareseeker.com/download/apple-chud-tools-4.4.4.rar/318986" THIS IS ONE OF THE FEW SITES THAT IT IS TRULY FREE TO DOWNLOAD. overall a great game, just lousy to install
Myst 3 a great family game.
I am not much for the shoot em up style games and much more prefer the Myst exploration style. You are allowed to roam freely and discover things as you go. The solving puzzles and deciphering clues can be a great challenge. It is not limited to any cretin age group. Quite often you just discover things by accident, so it is a game that is accessible to even the young. Myst 3 follows the tradition of 1 and 2. With it you can expect many hours of enjoyment as you explore this virtual world. It is a great game to get for the whole family.
Myst III Exile PC Game
Even though the technology of the software is older, it is still an intriguing and fun mystery journey. Great for slower paced mulling, with cool worlds to boot. I wanted it as a counterpoint to my first person shooter, and it fits the bill just right!
Great puzzles and graphics
I really enjoyed Myst III exile the most out of the Myst games that I have played. The storyline is good and adds some drama to the whole game. What I liked most about this game were puzzles, that were challenging yet not impossible, and the way in which the game rewards you for solving the puzzles. The graphics are excellent, even for a fairly old game. I would definately recommend this game, not only to Myst fans but to anyone who likes to explore fantastic environments and enjoys a bit of logic and puzzle solving, instead of boring shoot-em-up style games.
Msyt: what can I say.
In the long tradition of the wonderful Myst series, where Exile takes up from where (if you played it) you rescued Catherine in Riven and returned the linking book to Atrus. Some very challenging puzzles in Exile and beautifully created environments. In Exile we meet Ctaherine and baby Yeesha, and misguided Saavedra,
