Avis les plus pertinents

  • Excellent media center system for networked homes.

Great little unit for networked homes. Note -- it's Wi-Fi "ready", but you still have to use a USB wireless adapted (bought separately). I use the wired port, and it works great. Some thoughts: * Player can mount Windows shares. * The network explorer doesn't do well with lots of directories or files. I had to make special shares just for the DVD player, and only place a small number of files (5-15) in each share for the DVD player to see them all. * It seems to support MKV just fine, but does not support AVI. I haven't tried other formats. * It has an "internet" feature where you can login to your Hulu Plus and Netflix (and others). NF/H both seem to work pretty great, although each site has its own user experience. * Pause and other VCR buttons don't work in hulu when it's playing. ...

  • Excellent player, will buy another

An outstanding Blu-Ray player. I only use it in 2D, and have only used Internet streaming once on a wired connection. The streaming worked perfectly. Firmwware updates work very well on a wired connection. Boots up quickly for a Blu-Ray player (Blu-Rays take longer than DVDs to load). Excellent picture quality on a 50 inch Samsung plasma. Needs Wi-Fi adapter in rear USB to use wireless, typically cost additional $70. Menus work well. Remote takes a little getting used to, but works well. SD card slot can expand the memory of the player with a blank card, useful for watching some Blu-Rays (THX1138 for example), those with complex menus. Plays MKV files burned to blank DVD disc. Does not play most DIVX/XVID or AVI files. Plan to buy a second one for the spare room TV.

  • Another fine Panasonic product backed by the industry leader.

The DMP BDT110 is a finely made Panasonic. Adhering to quality specs that Panasonic electronics always provides. It's a 3D blu ray player with an Ethernet LAN connection. This unit does not have wireless connectivity. This seems to differentiate it from the DMP BDT210. The 210 has wireless as well as Ethernet connectivity. I have both units and I'm content with both of them. One thing I noticed about the DMP BDT110. When going through the menus on the 110 I can skip through the FBI warnings and such as well as the commercials that are embedded on todays discs. This is a plus for this unit. The 210 doesn't seem to have this feature. Both of these units compare favorably to the Sony BDP BX59 blu ray player, which I've had for a few years and use frequently.

  • Great DVD player.

Plays even my oldest DVDs, that my my other players get stuck on. Even my newer PCs. I could not be more happy with this product. I did a search for best Blu-ray player & this was at the top of the list for products under $100.00. the I found this one used on eBay that exceeded all my expectations. I love it!

  • Completely satisfied!

I bought this product because I just had purchased an LCD tv and wanted to upgrade from my old standard dvd player. I have not yet had the opportunity to purchase/watch any blu ray movies but I expect good news. It seems to have upgraded the standard dvd movies that I own. It is very simple to install and use. I can only compare this player to the PS3 blu ray feature. The PS3 cannot compete w/ this player regarding affordability, quality, and warranty. If this is your first blu ray purchase I recommend this player!
