This unique release contains 11 short films, each inspired by a track on Death Cab For Cutie's immensely popular 2005 album, PLANS. Released at the height of the band's mainstream success, PLANS featured such memorable songs as "Soul Meets Body," "Your Heart Is An Empty Room," and "Someday You Will Be Loved." Each created by a different director, the 11 films in DIRECTIONS all exist as works of art made outside the traditional music-video format. In fact, while the band's music functions as the springboard for all the films, the band does not actually appear in any of the material.
