    Good sound stage, great passive isolation, sturdy&indi part can be replaced

    headphone for drummers for hearing broad sound stage while hearing is being protected. I trust the quality of the German-made(this and the "Senn" brand). Sound is crisp, clear, balanced spectrum. Build is sturdy. Cushion on head band can be taken out for even lighter weight. I feel comfortable under normal room temperature. But if it's above 20C/68F, you may need AC on to avoid sweat while practicing.

    Great headphones for tracking instruments, not for mixing

    great headphones especially if you're using for foldback monitoring while recording drums or other instruments - the bassy response is particularly good for ensuring the rhythm section is heard through the foldback the player needs to perform, but with respect to using them as an alternative listening environment for mixing/mastering - the sound is too colored to effectively gauge your mix. To be sure, these are single purpose headphones and should be understood when you're purchasing them.

    They get the job done.

    The short of it is that I love these headphones. They have made a huge difference in my live music playing experience. As a drummer who is constantly playing to a click track, monitoring is a must. These headphones, although they definitely do NOT attenuate up to 30db like they advertise, but they do block enough sound that I can play through a session with them on and not hear ringing in my ears afterwards...and my band plays LOUD. Too loud if you ask me, but go ahead and try telling a guitarist to turn his amp down and see what happens. Long story short, great, functional headphones. The sound is detailed but not amazing....good enough for rock n roll.

    Drumming Headphones

    Bought these to use for drum practice.Very over rated for the price.Sound quality was and is poor.Speakers distort and very low volume.Not comfortable at all.Paid over $100.00 for them very disappointed in them.Just wasted money I think.
