The Robert Keeley Compressor pedal is built using tone-tested components and a true bypass switch for a clean, unaffected sound when the pedal is off. Metal film resistors and capacitors ensure clean compressor, ideal for both live and studio use. Hand-matched transistors to less than 1 percent tolerance, ensures you get a compressed signal, with no chance for unwanted distortions to bleed through. A standard for guitar compression, it won the Editor's Pick Award from Guitar Player magazine and the Reader's Choice Award in the stompbox category. It features an internal attack control to make it suitable for high-output active basses, along with an input sensitivity control, which allows it to be used in the studio for keyboards, drum machines, mastering, and other line-level uses.

New Keeley Compressor GC-2 Yes enjoyable & Yes Sounds like Brad Paisley!
The Keeley Compressor GC-2 Paisley Limited Edition which is why it has the Brad Paisley paint job on it. Some of the best Compressor's to have and I now have two one black and one this lovely colour, and also a Robert Keeley Black Compressor Pro. These are currently the only Keeley ones I have due to owning other makes like Boss, Wampler, Line 6, MXR, Electro Harmonix, Digitech, Danelectro and more. Like Earthquaker Devices, BBE, Chase Bliss Audio, Analgman, TC Electronic and also Behringer and now one JHS and one Morley and a few Roland. Another I have is WKD and Empress. I love the fact that with all my pedals I can use them clean or dirty sounding and I mostly love playing different types of music. My Dad loves Rock 'n' Roll and any Country music so I'm sure he'll love me playing any ... The Keeley Compressor GC-2 Paisley Limited Edition which is why it has the Brad Paisley paint job on it. Great Full-Featured Compressor
I love the versatility of this compressor. It does a great job as an electric guitar pedal. I wanted something very transparent to smooth out fingerpicking work, which it does really well. You can also dial in high-ratio compression to get a really punchy, squashed sound, though I rarely use it that way. The soft knee and auto attack/release are two of the best features and help achieve a very transparent sound. The gain-reduction LEDs are super fun -- you can watch the way the auto A/R adapts to different input sounds. The wide threshold range means that it can handle line level sources as well as instrument level. I have used it with an acoustic guitar pickup, placed after the preamp (line level) and it sounds beautiful this way, especially (again) for smoothing out fingerpicking. In ... The 14th Anniversary Keeley GC-2 is a special pedal. Not because it is a limited-edition; because it's just plain good. The Anniversary Edition only differs from the stock model with it's white, hand-painted finish. Otherwise, it's all about what's inside. Keeley is known for creating some of the highest quality compressors on the market, but I bought the GC-2 to use as a limiter. Place it at the end of your signal chain, and you get an adjustable threshold for your volume. That means: -You can find unity gain for all your overdrives/distortions (i.e. get the same volume out all pedals) -You create a volume ceiling for all other pedals (e.g. Big Sky sustain features), eliminating overpowering live mixes. Great compressor.
"Studio quality" is a phrase that you see attached to compressors frequently. I went with this one (instead of the famous 4-knob version) for use with multiple instruments. I am very happy with this. Sounds great with guitar, bass, etc. If you just want a good compressor for the pedal board, or you're doing some home recording, I can recommend this. -Paul

Keeley Bass Limiter Compressor
Best compressor I've owned. Keeps from coloring the tone of the bass yet has a great control on the spikes and low sound to even out the total sound. Very easy to use and setup.
