Sinbad Collection.
I purchased a used Sinbad Collection, which arrived sooner than expected. The outer case showed a little wear, but the DVD's and their jackets were in great shape. My family loves watching these classic Ray Harryhausen action films. They were all subtitled, in several languages, which I thought was excellent. Now I can get rid of my old VHS tapes.

Two out of three films are excellent!
The 7th Voyage of Sinbad and The Golden Voyage of Sinbad are superb films! Very imaginative and packed with special effects from the legendary Ray Harryhausen. Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger is a big letdown. Poor script and production values. The actors and Harryhausen try the best they can but you can only polish a product so much...

7th Voyage Of Sinbad Widescreen Version
Hey the gang up at Sony/Columbia has your best interests at heart, they took a masterpiece such as this and converted it from its original full screen format to a 1.85 : 1 widescreen version, thereby cropping the top and the bottom of the original frame. We know as collectors that we don't want to the see the film in its original format, we want to see it cut, cropped and grainy, such as this overblown piece of pluvial crap ! This is not the only film that Sony/Columbia has ruined by special effects great Ray Harryhausen. Widescreen versions of It Came From Beneath The Sea, Earth Vs The Flying Saucers, 20 Million Miles To Earth, Mysterious Island and Jaqson & The Argonauts. These films should not be purchased by collectors, they should boycott the product. They should remaster these ... Classic! Great Special Effects!
Ray Harryhausen's special effects are classic! We couldn't wait to see what was next! The Sinbad trilogy is nostalgia in claymation

Golden Voyage, Eye of Tiger, 7th Voyage
I am a 62 year old baby boomer and enjoyed these movies in my earlier years when they were only available at the theaters and later on tv. About 20 years ago,I purchased vcr versions of these movies and others like them and enjoyed them with my niece who is now in college. I now enjoy the dvd versions with my granddaughter. My niece has found out about this purchase and has asked to borrow them when she returns home from college next weekend. These movies can remain popular for years as long as they are properly presented into a child's life at an appropriate age. I will, most likely, purchase them again on the next type of media for my great grandchildren.
