  • OUTSTANDING, HARD-TO-FIND LCD MONITOR

People who like Apple computers usually do not want anything but Apple peripherals. While many/most Apple computers are one unit (the screen IS the computer), my wife's computer is like a PC setup -- a tower and a monitor screen. When her display screen died recently, we discovered that her screen, or anything similar from Apple, is no longer available. She tried a recommended screen that was supposedly for both PC and Mac/Apple. Unfortunately, certain features and connections were just not there. When I found a seemingly flawless, well-cared-for display screen just like her old one on eBay, I felt compelled to bid for it. It looks brand new, works perfectly, and is exactly what she had before. I feel quite fortunate that the seller had this screen available. When this monitor finally ...

  • A crisp, clean, sharp, and stylish monitor & reliable

This monitor is very good for a crt, outperforming many of my LCD panels. The picture is vibrant, very sharp, colors are accurate, and the color temperature, and gamma levels are also very good, needing very little calibration of the GPU, or the monitor. Apple has a very good reputation for displays, and this one follows that lineage very well. The case styling is very clean, very stylish breaking away from the typical dull beige, grey, or black theme of typical PC's. The ADC port does however keep this as a Mac only. It has a very fast refresh rate which helps keep eye strain minimal. Pros:Sharp vivid picture, vibrant & accurate color, fast refresh rate and high resolution (1600x1200), durable case. Cons:ADC limits it to ADC equipped macs only(converter is available to VGA, or DVI), ...

  • Great display! Carefully chosen used units are a good deal.

I bought a used Apple Studio Display after the one in use since 2002 refused to light up (burned out fluorescent tubes). Repair videos are available on-line, but it's cheaper and easier to purchase a replacement. This is an excellent display with great resolution and a modern design which is still in style. Be aware the ADC connection does limit this monitor to "older" Macs, but it is "plug-and-play."

  • Apple Computers are number One!!

I do love Apple Computers. I do have few of the PowerBook G4 laptop computers, but never own the desktop with a Display LCD Monitor. Back in September of 2011, I bought an Apple G3 from Minnesota Department of Natural Resources without Display, and at the same time, I found this Display on E-bay and I bought it to have a complete Apple Desktop. I play most of my DVDs on the Apple Desktop and the Display screen is very clear. I enjoy this Apple Desktop very well.

  • Good deal but there was a big scratch on the screen that was not mentioned in listing
