Awesome Favouite!!!
I ordered this one to replace the exact same one that I have had for years and wore out from taking it back and forth to cottage. Every single recipe is great, easy and with “common” ingredients. Highly recommend!!!

One of the best cook books for beginners, full of photos and delicious recipes
I have bought multiple cook books in the last several years. We moved a little over 2 years ago and most of the cook books that I had bought were lost in the move. When I saw this one and remembered it from before and ordered another copy. Then I ordered 2 more, one for my son who is getting his own apartment and one for a neighbor boy who is learning to cook. When I showed my copy to another neighbor she wanted one too. It has very good explanations of cooking techniques like cubing, chopping, dicing, stir, fold, whisk and explaining what the difference is…and it has pictures of not only the techniques but most of the dishes and how to prepare them. The recipes are not like some cook books where you flip through the pages and see that they tried to impress with fancy ingredients that you ... A cookbook for a Bride or Grandma
I bought the book because we went to dinner at our nephews house and the meal we had was from this book and just delicious. The book was just as described when we received it and full of great recipes. It is excellent for the cook who is just learning as the recipes are very easy to follow and the book is full of things everyone should know about cooking. It would be a perfect shower gift for a new bride, or for someone like me age (71) who likes to cook but does not want to try recipes that are exhausting to follow. Love it and would buy it again. Cooked for a friend of ours who is very fussy and he loved the recipe we choose, so now we know we can use this cookbook whenever he comes over for dinner. A true beginner's cookbook
I bought this cookbook for my daughter in law who has no experience with cooking what so ever. She loves it and so does my son, haha... It has helped her greatly in the kitchen and what's you through the steps. It also has a section on how to cook a thanksgiving dinner. Way helpful!!!! I recommend this cookbook to anyone who wants to learn to cook and those of use who already know. we can never have enough knowledge when it comes to the kitchen.I bought this cookbook for my daughter in law who has no experience with cooking what so ever. "MUST HAVE" cookbook for "EVERY" kitchen...
This is a MUST HAVE cookbook for everyone starting out in the kitchen. The recipes are easy, simple, and very practical dishes to learn. My favorite part of this book is all of the truly important information needed BEFORE cooking begins, including preparation techniques, spices, basic equipment, food storage, substitutions and so much more.
