Great product from JL audio !!! Best amp going right now !!
this is probably one of the best amps I have ever installed. Amazing power for the units size. Sound quality is very very clear,with little to no distortion. I have this amp Driving 1 12" kicker solobaric in my Porsche GT2, bass will rattle your teeth. I have also installed the JL HD 650 for the mids and highs. Fantastic combo !!! It replaced 3 old school fosgates (700.4,400s and 800s) and is louder and clearer than all 3 taking up far less space and drawing less current. The other nice thing is the flexibility of ohm loads and constant power under low voltage conditions. The units also have very good filtering ability with sn ratios over 100db. I am using there remote knobs for volume on both amps and that really helps when switching music types as very easy to alter bass/treble for any ... this is probably one of the best amps I have ever installed. The Best!!
If you’re sitting on the fence about this Amp... pull the trigger. I had a HD 900/5 pushing my JL 10W7AE Sub... been wanting something to push it more than 500 watts. Well first impression was WOW!!! This 10 inch JL never ceases to amaze me. I’ve had it going on 8 yrs now... And heres to many more enjoyable years. Still have the HD900/5 too. YOU SIMPLY CANT GET A BETTER PRODUCT PERIOD. JL AUDIO makes the best equipment. Do NOT get fooled by total wattage numbers.2 ohm Stable. 750watts @ .02% THD. Smooth controls. Great versatility. Quality Unit.

JL Audio HD750.1 this amp is no joke!!!
I had this amp running (2) 10W7's (2)12W7's (1)13W7 & there's really nothing this amp can't. Push I mean I am tha man on my block LOL! but it's so funny everyone on my block who trys to compete all have like 1000-3000 watt big ol amps bu as soon as they ask can hy check out my setup they see my litle guy I got and get lost and always say I have a hidden amp LOL!!! Now that's funny this amp weighs like nothing!!! If u need real raw power and have litle room then this is Tha amp if you got any jl subs this is tha amp highly recommended!!!I had this amp running (2) 10W7's (2)12W7's (1)13W7 & there's really nothing this amp can't. Do you really need a 1000/1?
Unless your running 13W7's, I'd say go with this over the 1000/1 and 500/1 all day. They're perfect on 12W7's. You could run two of these on two 12W7's and have the about the same current draw if not less than one 1000/1. And gain 500 watts over the one 1000!!! I've ran these on 13W7's with satisfactory results, it still slammed with 750's instead of 1000's. I highly recommend these for you guys with newer cars that you can't really upgrade the alternator on, you can only do so much to a charging system without upgrading that key piece of equipment.Unless your running 13W7's, I'd say go with this over the 1000/1 and 500/1 all day.
