The Panasonic DMX-LX7 camera is powered by the Venus engine to ensure seamless performance. It can offer a user friendly interface in an attractive format and has a sensor resolution of 10.1 megapixels.The LX7's lens comes equipped with a maximum aperture range of f/1.4–f/2.3. This range can ensure adequate light for excellent illumination and can prevent background blurring, which can make it easy to focus on specific objects with clarity. The DMX-LX7 is also equipped with a high dynamic range, which can work to improve the image quality by enabling the camera pick out an image that is more like what your eyes see. This capability can be ideal for a photo of a high contrast scene and photos taken in motion. The camera can zoom in and magnify your subject up to four times.The camera has a lens focal length of 24–90 that can come in handy when enabling clarity in images taken of a far object.     Great Camera at a Great Price. Leica Quality Without the Leica Cost

    Excellent camera that sits one position down from the much more expensive (but also very great) LX-100. Nice and super-fast (f1.4) Leica lens, great build quality, easy to use in auto mode but also fully capable of manual settings. Shoots in JPEG or RAW or JPEG+RAW I added a Lumix electronic viewfinder, which makes the camera much easier to use in bright outdoor settings--and more like a traditional viewfinder camera. Some will find fault with the fact that it shoots only 1080P HD video (and the best quality comes in AVHCD, not MP4, which requires a little more work to get videos ready for editing or sharing), but that's not a big deal for me. The sensor is also significantly smaller than the one on the LX-100, but the average viewer won't be able to tell. I carry this camera with me on ...

    Light, fast and sharp camera, excellent for traveling.

    Good for traveling, this camera is light, fast, and sharp. The unique feature about it is its f/1.4 Leica lens, the images taken by which are bright and sharp. And if you know how to use it in manual mode, you can create professional photos with creamy bokeh. When you see one under $170, don't let it slip away. Total weight of the beauty is less than 1 lb; which can easily fit in your pocket.

    Just what I needed

    I have a Canon SX60 bridge camera & Pentax K-3 with multiple lenses. The Lumix gives me a quality pocket camera with some of the advanced settings of a dslr. I really like the panoramic feature, works great. There's other options that I look forward to experimenting with. First photo is a 200 foot water tower near my place & the second is with the optical zoom. The third pic is from Shelving Rock Mt on Lake George, NY & the last is the panoramic view.

    Great photos

    Perfect for my business, right lens type - slight wide angle, good in low light, the previous LX7 lasted about 5 years taking 50 to 150 photos per day, best compact camera I've owned over the past 30 years. Thinking about buying another for a backup.
