Publisher 2K Sports continues its hockey series exclusively on the Wii with an entirely new game mode and an emphasis on sharper controls in NHL 2K11. A Ditto In The NHL 2K Series
A few subtle changes in the team's lineup from the previous NHL 2K Wii series. My biggest gripe is the camera angle choices. All are from end to end. No TV Broadcast side camera angle. I'm a big fan of the Wii NHL Slapshot game. Hands down better than the Wii NHL 2K series. Even though I gripe it's still fun...

Good find at good price.
I purchased the game for my husband because he had been wanting a hockey game for the Wii. They seem to have become obsolete for the original Wii system, so when I found this one at the price it was listed for, I jumped on it! The game is used, but is in great condition! We haven't had any issues with scratches or skipping while playing. He enjoys playing it. He did mention that it was a little difficult to control at first, but he seems to have gotten the hang of it.I purchased the game for my husband because he had been wanting a hockey game for the Wii. Potential but Wii didn't care when they made this game. Frustrating,
Mediocre... I wish Nintendo would actually put some effort into this because it could explode but it seems like they had total amateurs who don't care make the game. The functionality of the remote vs the game was ok but far too often did something you didn't want it too...very frustrating (but hey it's new technology ok...). The rosters were a mess. I constantly found players ages off by several years - sometimes 15 years older than they are (bad news if you want to play dynasty mode). And then you have players names being pronounced wrong. I mean did they even consult anyone from hockey when they made the game?! The biggest issue I have with the game is the smartness of the on ice players (or should I say lack of). Just very disappointing when for example you have a one on one ... Mediocre... I wish Nintendo would actually put some effort into this because it could explode but it seems like they had total amateurs who don't care make the game. It was nice graphics for my old mini wii for my grandson.
This is a very good game for the age of it. My grandson loved playing it more as compared to an old 2K9 that he was playing with. Graphics better and the speed of the game is faster.
