Enjoy watching familiar actors, younger versions of themselves. Maybe they don't solve the world's problems, but they help you forget them for awhile.
Great actors, great characters, great dialogue. The characters in this movie (because of it's winter setting) always look like their noses are cold! This feeling is somehow conveyed to the watcher via the cinematic process. Such are the nuances of this overlooked film.

Great Movie
To me this movie is a classic. There hasn't been one time when it was on TV and I didn't stop whatever I was doing to watch it. It is about a guy that goes back home for his 10 year high school reunion and finds most of his old friends to be the same as they were in school. Being home makes him question his own life and if he's with the right person. Sounds like a simple story but there is something about it that makes it great. This movie always stirs up lots of emotion in me. I think it is very well done and the actors are great. It will make you think of high school and your old friends. Great movie. Out of print so if you want a copy you better find it on eBay. Trust me, I looked for years and finally got one here. Bottom line, one of my favorite movies of all time!To me this movie is a classic. Used DVD, but in great shape!
I love this movie! Especially the cast. I can't say enough good things about it. After watching it on T.V. this past summer, I decided to buy a copy of my own. I found it especially refreshing to see the setting in a small town in Massachusetts in the winter time with plenty of ice and snow. It was very refreshing and relaxing when my temperatures outside were in the 100's! I purchased a used copy of this movie because I could not find a new one at the moment and I wanted it right then! However, I'm very pleased with my used copy. No scratches or bad spots and I've watched at about 6 times!I love this movie! Especially the cast. I can't say enough good things about it.
