Product Information

Pogo Island is a release of five games currently available for play on the Pogo website. This bundle includes an "Adventure" mode for single-players where they must rescue five Pogo mascots by completing each game. Word Whomp is a game that combines rodent removal with word puzzles and a time limit, and Poppit! requires gamers to pop like-colored balloons in the largest chains possible obtain high scores. Phlinx features matching colored stones to collect power-ups for a trip to the bonus round, and Tri-Peaks Solitaire is a remix of the original single-person game where players remove cards from the bottom up to uncover power-ups and bonus cards. With friends, gamers may take turns attempting to beat the high score in all five games or by connecting to an Ad-Hoc or head-to-head connection, gamers may challenge friends to a competitive round or Word Whomp.

This was my 2nd attempt to get this game from eBay, as my 1st attempt (not from this seller) didn't work since the game crashed at a certain point. Thankfully, however, this 2nd one I got seems to work fine so far, so I can definitely say this is working fine!

Great!! with 5 different games. Well worth buying.
I bought this game for my DS because i love pogo online. This way i figured i could have a portable pogo for trips, while waiting at the dr. etc. It has five games from pogo online plus an adventure mode where you have to find your pogo friends and fix your ship so its like having 6 games really. Also you can transfer any tokens you earn on the game to your pogo account online. What a GREAT bonus. Tihs is a good game to adults and teens. For younger children one of the games you have to be able to spell well so it would have to be older kids. It is great entertainment for adults though. Included on this game are Word Whomp (a spelling game), Tri-Peaks solitaire (a card game), Poppit (a balloon popping game), Squelchies (making matches with fish) and Phlinx - a falling marble game. ... Pogo Not just 4 Online
My favorite games wrapped into one tiny DS cartridge is GREAT. I like the fact that I don't have to go online all the time to play my games I can turn on my sons DS (when he's not playing) and have fun and earn tokens. Another cool thing is that I can transfer my tokens I win on the game to my Online Pogo Account, all I needed was a Wi-Fi connection to link them up. That was a cool feature. The games you can play are Poppit, Tri-Peaks Solitaire, Phylinx, Squelchies, and Word Whomp. You can play the games regularly or you can play in adventure mode and do different challenges to repair your ship. This game is good for all ages. My son is 4.5 and he likes fooling on my pogo, but I don't like him playing in rooms with chats so this is a nice alternative for him. My mother in law plays as well ... A definite must for puzzle-goers.
I was initially interested in this product because it boasted five games that you can find on the gaming site, Pogo.com. I fell in love with 'Phlinx' playing it on-line. Now I can play it on my DS! Along with 'Phlinx' (a marble shooting skill game), I enjoy 'Word Whomp' (a game where you are given 6 letters and you try to make as many 3, 4, 5, & 6 letter words from them as you can), 'TriPeaks' (an interesting solitaire-like card game), 'Poppit' (a strategy puzzle game where you pop groups of like-colored balloons, trying to leave the least number possible unpopped), and 'Squelchies' (another strategy, almost tetris-like game with multi-colored fish). While the latter two are good games, the first three are my favorite. Had this product only contained 1 of these first three games it ... I love playing pogo on the internet so this is exactly like the games on pogo.com but it was for on the go when I can't be at the computer. I bought it because advertising for it had caught my eye. It is so fantastic a family member wanted it but because it wasn't available anywhere I looked to ebay to get one. Now she is hooked on the game. Pogo Island, the best game ever
I bought this game twice. I bought it as the first game for my Nintendo DS-Lite. I am a big fan of the pogo website and their games so was very excited to find this game for the Nintendo DS. The games are fun, and not your typical kiddie video games. They make you think and have fun at the same time. I love that you can go on an Island adventure and play games randomly or if you already have a favorite between the many games it comes with (Poppit, Word Whome, Tri-Peak Solitarie, Squichies, Phynx) then you can just play those games. I would highly recomend this game to anyone who isnt into the child-oriented games.I bought this game twice. I bought it as the first game for my Nintendo DS-Lite.
