Product Information

The only unlicensed game on Super NES, Super Noah's Ark 3D casts players in the role of the biblical patriarch as they attempt to feed aggressive animals from within the famed boat. Although the game features the same graphics engine found in id Software's Wolfenstein 3D for the system, a slingshot is used instead of a gun, and goats, sheep, ostriches, and other creatures are substituted for enemy soldiers. The action involves navigating 30 maze-like levels and slinging fruit at the spitting, kicking, and otherwise ornery animals to satiate their hunger and calm them down. Once each animal has been "fed," play resumes on a new level in the Ark with more creatures to nourish and boss beasts to tame.

Super 3D Noah's Ark for the SNES
This item is a great as a collector's item, but on it's merit as a game is strictly a novelty. In case you don't know the history on this game, here goes... This (by all accounts I've ever heard), the ONLY UNLISCENSED game released for the Super Nintendo console. It was released by Wisdom Tree (who made Bible games). The game is a direct clone of Wolfenstien 3D, except your only "weapon" in a slingshot and your "enemies" are angry animals from the ark that you have to "feed" to make them fall over "asleep". The cartridge itself works and looks pretty much like a Game Genie. This is because you have to stack an officially liscensed SNES game on top of it to bypass the system's security chip so that the game will be allowed to play. So the real appeal of this game is in it's rarity and ... This item is a great as a collector's item, but on it's merit as a game is strictly a novelty. There is an urban legend that id Software, fed up with Nintendo of America's censorship in the SNES version of Wolfenstein 3D, gave the source code for that game to Wisdom Tree for them to make an unofficial clone. When you look at the cart for Super Noah’s Ark 3D it looks like a Game Shark, this is because the SNES has a lock out chip that will not allow any ... Exactly as I expected.
I've never played the game myself, only seen video of gameplay. It's as bad as I could have dreamed.

True to the original scripture the finest in Arc based combat the snes has to offer. If you only have one game in your snes library it should be the lesser Piko interactive reprint version. If you have two games, you need to own the original Wisdon Tree printing, with a second game to bypass the lock out. The second game doesn't matter, grab Hagane, Chrono Trigger or what ever, any licensed game will let you play the wisdom tree original print in its full glory.True to the original scripture the finest in Arc based combat the snes has to offer.
