Great seller! This seller carefully and correctly packed my parcel for shipment across the continent from LA to DC. Thank you! This electrical connecting spray is needed by every guitarist w/an amplifier. The formulation cleans and strengthens electronic connections. Next time you hear a crackle from an amp or pot on a guitar, you need to buy this stuff so that that crackle is gone. And finally thanks again for selling this product at a fair price! I am putting my 1970 TEAC 4010S back is service after it seized up about 1995. I purchased another Teac, parts only. That did it for me, now I am rebuilding two Teac real to reals. DeoxIT is required to clean pots and switches after a long rest in the closet, to say nothing about a piece of equipment that you don’t anything about. This will take care of your problems fast

D5, which is silicate base for not only electronics; but some other metals can not only cut through caked greasy dirt on stainless; but coat connections: where then "throwing the circuit into an aquarium while running" - it IS GOING TO REMAIN ON AND unencumbered BY THE CHANGE IN DIELECTRIC & density." Well...either I'd like a vat or swimming pool full of it or to buy shares in the company or out right.

The Go-To electrical contact cleaner
(Aside: Seriously, can one describe this product as "enjoyable"? It's just not an applicable term, like, is transmission fluid "enjoyable"?) As a collector of vintage electronics, I use Deoxit D5S6 (and other Deoxit products) regularly. Use it before resorting to taking apart delicate (i.e., old) switches. It also improves connectivity with household plugs and switches, but use sparingly. "Knock offs" of Deoxit just don't seem to work as well and as long in my experience. If the spray does not work, it's back to careful disassembly of the item and judicious use of needle files...very time consuming but necessary. For bulky, robust electrical connections, consider almost any brand of dielectric gel. Finally, once while driving an older car, the ignition switch stopped working. Just by ... Holy crap!!!
I purchased this to clean up the potentiometers (pots) that control the volume, bass, treble, and balance on a 1979 solid state tuner that I was given. The balance was very crackly and hardly had a left channel on speakers 'a' or 'b'. After giving them a good spray with this a couple times and a couple of days to dry, this thing works and sounds as new!!!! Miracle liquid..
My vintageTechnic turntable's pitch control was inconsistent. Wouldn't hold speed. Couple squirts of DeoxIT and it smoothed out instantly. Didn't even have to take it apart. Just sprayed under dial. Amazing stuff. Going to use it on an old KLH Model 24, see if it will bring it back to life.

A gem of a Product
This product is fabulous for alleviating noises, hisses, and pops in electronic equipment due to oxidation or other age-related issues with switches and other parts. I use it on my vintage stereo equipment (1970's tuner-amplifier and reel-to-reel deck) and it keeps the gear in near perfect condition, free of annoying noises. Amazingly, I've also used it on the electronic control board and throttle for the electric motor on my boat. It totally eliminated corrosion issues. Great cleaner!
I repair audio equipment for a high end Audio/Video shop in Colorado Springs, and this product always amazes me on how good it works. Any switch or control that you can get to and get the cleaner in the device always works like new. I have used this on old radios from the 1930's and 1940's and it just seems to always work. A lot of the switches used on audio equipment from the 1970's and on are usually hard to get to the actual contacts, so I have to use a drill bit and a Dremel tool to drill a small hole in the top or end of the switch to get the cleaner inside.
