    review for the Orion the Hunter

    Following his pretty decent self-titled solo album from 1980 recorded with most of his bandmates from the group Boston, guitarist Barry Goudreau formed a new band and delivered an even better set of slick AOR/melodic hard rock with their self-titled debut and only release Orion the Hunter. The big standout is the excellent minor hit single "So You Ran", but a couple other highlights like "All Those Years", "Dreamin'", "Fast Talk", and "Call it Love", whose chorus reminds me a bit of Loverboy's workout rocker "Hot Girls in Love" for better or worse, make it worth a look from AOR fans. Boston singer Brad Delp contributes backing vocals to three songs.

    GREAT ALBUM for ALL fans of Boston!

    As a HUGE fan of Boston, I was looking for Orion The Hunter for a long time. Thanks to ebay...I found it. I paid $20 for the CD, and it's worth every penny! Obviously the big single is "So You Ran," but this album is filled with great hooks, melodies, and rocking tunes in line with what you'd expect from Boston guitarist Barry Goudreau! I love it, and so will you! I guarantee it!
