Star as one of the original action film heroes in Rambo: The Video Game from Reef Entertainment and developer Teyon. In this PlayStation 3 game, you run and gun through some of the most iconic scenes from all three films. For authenticity, Reef obtained the original movie and trailer voice recordings from the productions and used them in the game. That means the lines you hear in the game are the actual recordings you remember from the legendary Rambo series. Relive your favorite moments from the movie series in your living room with Rambo: The Video Game for the PS3. Gameplay for Rambo: The Video Game follows the rail-shooter tradition that's commonly found in arcades with additional cover-shooting elements and character leveling. Levels consist of a variety of destructible terrain that fans saw in First Blood, First Blood Part II, and Rambo III. The game features stealth elements for infiltrating prison camps during heroic rescues and for cinematic slow-motion video takedowns. The initial release version of the game includes iconic weapons from the Rambo films like his bow and massive knife. It also features both one player and two player game modes, so you can let friends star alongside you. As Rambo levels up through the game, newer and more powerful perks are unlocked to enhance skills and show the bad guys that you're the boss. Once Rambo is fully leveled up to the maximum, a total of three perks can be equipped all at once. Skill points are also earned to add bonus multipliers to the base lineup of defense, weapon, and special skills. There is also a variety of arrow upgrades, knives, pistols, and heavier weapons with a wide range of damage levels. All of these elements work together to make the character easy to tailor to the preferences of any player. A meter bar at the top of the screen shows the accumulation of wrath from eliminating or disarming various enemies. Once it's full, players can enter wrath mode to recover health and build combos through more action-packed gunplay. The video changes in wrath mode to highlight enemies and items that will explode when shot with a firearm. Enemies are also slowed down while players move at normal speed and temporarily have unlimited ammo to cut enemies down. Acquire perks to extend the length of wrath mode to fully take advantage of all of the benefits it can provide. Add levels and features to your video game with Reef's free release of the DLC Baker Team for PlayStation 3. Three new missions are added that take place before the events of the original First Blood series of films. A new arsenal of weapons can be unlocked through all new challenges to add even more carnage to your PS3. Additional character levels allow you to unlock all skill points and all new perks add even more character-build bonuses. The new John Rambo difficulty tests the skills of players who are unintimidated by the game's existing Green Beret difficulty.

    PS3 RAMBO A DUD

    One of the most terrible games I have EVER played!! Whoever thought this crappy game up should be drawn and quartered! A complete waste of time and MONEY!! My rating for this game is 0 out of 10!! DO NOT BUY THIS SO CALLED GAME!!!!! On you tube look up THE CRAZY JOE SHOW and see what he says about PS3 Rambo, it expresses y feelings exactly!!!!!

    A fun on rails shooter arcade game for Rambo fans.

    Ok this game is an On rails shooter type of game. Its very arcade like game play but it does capture the heart of the Rambo story. Its not going to be for everyone but if your a fan of the Rambo movies, you will get a lot out of this. This would have been a huge hit in the 90s if it had been an arcade cabinet game. This is very much a throw back game to older types of gameplay you would see in arcades.

    Great product to buy online than I have trouble finding that in stores.

    I bought this game and I'm fairly enjoying this because I'm a Rambo movie fan. The graphics are okay but would have been better, but so bloody and violent almost like the movie. What I don't like is this game is tough and challenging to play as I get killed by enemies so much and then start back from the check point playing for hours until my hand gets so tired using the controller. Play this game in a rail as this is almost like "Time Crisis" shooting all the enemies in a certain area, and then move to the next area after killing them all. The difference in the Rambo game is you use the controller, not using a light gun in Time Crisis. I'm thinking that would been better using a light gun or maybe a mouse moving the target to shoot the enemy. I say mostly to those who are a Rambo movie ...
