By partnering with over 240 big names in football, All-Pro Football 2K8 is designed to offer a highly customizable and unique experience for both single- and multiplayer action. Players must create a dream team by recruiting as many legends as possible from a roster that includes Johnny Unitas, Jerry Rice, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, and John Elway. Although there is no official NFL license, gamers can recognize their favorite players by their physical appearance and the familiar style and color of each character's uniform. Games are played at fictional stadiums around the country and logos for each group are similar to those found on the jerseys of real-life teams. Players are able to play through a season alone or challenge friends through offline play and online multiplayer action.

    Great football gameplay that is superior

    EA / Madden series has had a monopoly on the NFL license since 2005, hence this game in 2007. Gameplay in APF 2k8 is WAY better than anything EA / Madden has done in the last 15 years. Blocking, tackling, throwing, running, and AI are much more realistic in my humble opinion, and this game was made in 2007. It's not 100% perfect, but it plays as close as you can get to real football, even in 2018. Weaknesses are no Franchise mode, only a single Season mode. No NFL license either (EA / Madden has taken that away from everyone since 2005). There are only a limited amount of retired NFL players on imaginary teams and stadiums. Graphics are decent but not as good, but again this was made in 2007 for older consoles compared to todays Xbox One / PS4. 2k Sports needs to make another NFL licensed ...

    Geared for online play

    This game will probably appeal more to people who play online, otherwise wait until madden comes out because of the lack of a franchise mode will kill it for you. Those of you who enjoyed 2k5 will love this title. It has improved graphics and most of the A.I. "glitches" that plaugued 2k5 have been addressed. People playing 2k5 online made a living with taking advantage of bad offensive line and defensive back A.I. not to mention the onside kick glitch and the punt/FG block timming glitch. They also toned down the ease of "trucking" multiple defenders with a powerbacks. Another thing you will not see in this newest installment of the 2k franchise is QBs running at will on you while your defenders aimlessly pick their noses. Needless to say it is alot more enjoyable to play online now ...

    Very good game

    I gave this a five star because while it has a few glitches and gameplay is amazing and feels realistic which I think madden has never done. This game also has solid graphics and I like the way you build your team from gold stars, silver stars, bronze stars and no stars. I like how this game has superstar abilities which took EA 13 years later to do. Also it is really good if your playing online and adds an element of competitiveness. The real only bad thing is that they is no franchise mode.

    It's a solid football game

    I'm not a football fanatic so I don't know all the technicalities. All-Pro 2K8 seems to execute the game realistically in real time. You can run the ball for a gain. Passing can be a little more difficult because you can't always see the WR's. Graphics aren't breath taking. Not alot of neat ani-motions to add to the realism of a football game. Tackles are generic and look the same every time. I like the fantasy teams. I like playing in fantasy land sports. It's a game, what's wrong with fake players and fake teams? Let's build a complete fake basketball series(that's my sport of choice) like the old Double Dribble, Tecmo Bowl, Ken Griffey Jr Baseball I love that stuff. I would be just as pleased if 2K Sports would make fantasy players to go with the fantasy teams, just make up some ...
