Rely on your dexterity on the gamepad and joystick to fight for the Snow Brothers against the detestable King Scorch and his armed fighters of Ice Commandos. Nick and Tom are caught in huge snowdrifts while they are hatching a plan to make their swift getaway. This platform video game from the early 1990s has you encountering colorful characters such as the Pumpkin Head and Fridge. Be careful on this jaunt, however. You can instantly be transformed into slush and lose one of your lives if an enemy touches you. Help Nick and Tom use snowballs to battle back and pelt their adversaries until they have gotten to be one mammoth snowball. Snow Brothers Review
Snow Bros. was an Arcade title that I used to play at a roller rink in my youth and so for this review I went out of my way to track down the elusive NES version. Basically two princes named Nick and Tom are at odds with the evil King Scorch so Scorch puts a snow spell on them which turns them into snow people then he kidnaps the two princesses of the land and invades so now Nick and Tom must restore order. So like many NES games there is a very simple plot but it gets the job done. Basically each level is a screen where enemies will appear as you must jump around and cover them in snow to make them into a giant snowball then you can push it off ledges to defeat other enemies. In addition there are plenty of different power-ups that can be found to add to the fun. If you take too long to ... The level layouts are nice and every ten levels there is a new boss to fight and then a fun slot machine game for extra lives. With a whopping fifty levels this game has a decent amount of value too. Overall I would say that this is a completely overlooked gem that is worth a look, especially if you have a second player to add to the mix which multiplies the entertainment value. good 2 player game
don't play it a lone. the price is killing the play value of this game. if it was cheaper people could enjoy this game. yes it's came out late in the NES life time but the game is a great 2 player game and the price is killing the replay value

This is a highly addictive game and one of my favorite "pick up and play" games for the Nintendo NES. It's a fun little game that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, and I wasn't kidding when I said it was addictive. You play the role of The Snow Brothers, Nick and Tom. The shimmering Frost Princess has been kidnapped by the evil King Scorch. Nick and Tom are to the rescue! You must fight your way through 50 different stages. Each stage is just a single room with enemies in it, you need to defeat all the enemies with your snow throwing power in order to clear the level. After each 10 levels there is a boss you must defeat. The game plays similar to the Bubble Bobble series. The game is quite difficult to find as it is a somewhat rare title, but if you can find it, I recommend ...
